These seem really neat. I expect I'd especially like the moss additions!
However, I have Skyking's "Skyland AIO" and I'm not good at keeping straight what all it changes or how other mods might interact with it. With your Static Swaps mods, might I be gaining nice moss on vanilla rocks, on vanilla Nord ruins, et cetera, but losing deluxe versions of the rocks and ruins themselves--versions that Skyland may have provided and I've gotten used to?
Maybe someone who understands these things better than me can advise me.
You can actually adjust it yourself in the "Static Swaps Variety - Practice Dummies_SWAP.ini" Just open the file in a text editor and add the ; symbol at the start of any version you don't want to see.
Hi, I can't seem to get this to work with Skyrim VR. Base Object Swapper VR is installed and works with some other mods. I tried removing the ESL flag, and loading it as an ESR plugin but the moss is not showing up anywhere and no other objects are getting replaced. Any ideas what could be the reason?
I'm not too familiar with the differences in the VR version of BOS. First thing would be to check the BOS .log file. Should be located at "C:\Users\yourusername\Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\SKSE". There, you want to look for and open the file called "po3_BaseObjectSwapper.log" and look for lines with "INI : Data\Static Swaps Variety". Should give more info on what is happening with al of the swap conditions.
Really wish I could help more but I just don't have VR so I can't troubleshoot. There must be something fundamentally different about the VR version which is causing it to not register, but what that is I cannot say. I would suggest asking around on the VR port page for BOS here, or on their GitHub to see if they might be able to provide some direction.
I managed to get it working. I removed the ESL flag from the ESP and I copied all files out of the folder named "root" to the mod install folder above. Not sure which of the two did it, but i got nice, green moss everywhere now. Love it!
Dear friend you have a nice variety review here, however the substitute of barrels and crates does not allow me to loot them. It's as if they're just static. I have: MisterB's Lootable Things Dynamic Things Alternative - Base Object Swapper Dynamic Things Alt BOS - All Woodpiles and Barrels Patchpodrias
take a look to see if we can do anything to be able to take the objects inside these containers
I'm currently working on a full and proper DTA patch. MisterB's Lootable things would be, I would think, redundant once DTA patched. As for the DTA woodpiles and barrels patch, I don't know. Maybe but no promises on that one.
Yeah my DTA patch was set up for the BOS version, but right now it's just the practice dummies. I'm working on everything else for full and proper DTA compatibility.

I checked that file and your mod does not show up in the log file at all. Just some other mods.
