About this mod

Using Base Object Swapper, switches clutter items in Skyrim to local styled variations from Narrative Loot.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
Narrative Loot has a lot of sets that could replace the vanilla Skyrim clutter - glazed pots and plates, jugs, bowls, goblets, cups, kettles and candlesticks. Through BOS, this mod replaces all of these clutter items with the appropriate local variations. This way, Markarth will have the new added Dwemer pots, locations in the Pale will have clutter from the Dawnstar set, and Solitude will have the latest Mede dynasty artisanship.

This mod covers all of Skyrim and Solstheim, and is available in two formats:

  • Location-based: This file contains *all* locations in Skyrim and its DLCs except the parent hold locations. This means much greater variety: Amren's house can have Hammerfell pottery, for example, while the rest of Whiterun will keep the Painted set. But it also means that some mod-added locations will retain the vanilla clutter.
  • Catch-all: This file contains the parent hold locations and location types for all of Skyrim and its DLCs. By nature, it is more encompassing, and will cover all mod-added locations within the vanilla worldspaces. But it allows for less variety; you can't have different sets for Rorikstead and Riverwood, for example, because they're both within the Whiterun hold location.

The best option for you is completely subjective. If you don't mind seeing the vanilla items sometimes (or already have a visual replacement for them), I recommend option 1.

Castle Volkihar is deliberately left untouched in option 1 to preserve compatibility with the excellent No More Silver in Castle Volkihar.

This is my first mod with BOS. If there are any locations I missed, better solutions to what I did, or any general feedback you want to give, feel free to write a comment!
