Actually the instructions say to use the replacer version of Wall Carvings, which is found at the bottom of that mod’s download page. That will simply replace all the wall basket models with carving models. Then what this mod does is use Base Object Swapper to dynamically replace some of those with Pieter’s new basket models.
This sounds convoluted, but the advantage is that you don’t need to do any patching for mods that place new baskets in old or new locations. You get a mix of both using the magic of BOS no matter what other mods you use.
Edit: this does require that you also install Base Object Swapper and its prerequisites as well, to be clear. There are a lot of cool mods that also use BOS, so it’s worth doing.
Indeed BOS is great. Already using it with a lot of mods :)
Thanks for replying.
Edit : I read the description but it seems like the part where it said that nordic carving is also included in the load was not interpreted by my small brain. I apologize for asking something that is already answered.
Hi Tenz81. Nordic Carving is not a hard requirement as it merely acts as a replacer for the vanilla meshes. My mod simply swaps the vanilla meshes and/or mesh replacers, whether those are plain old vanilla, Nordic Carving, or any other mesh replacer with my higher poly versions of the wall baskets. So, if you would run my mod without Nordic carving installed nothing bad will happen, you would simply be swapping vanilla wall baskets for my higher poly ones. My intention is for this to be used with Nordic Carving, but it does not have to be used with it. Hope this makes sense.

1) mnWallbasketSE.esp (Nordic carving)
2) Wall Basket_Variants_BOS.esp ? (your mod : Wall basket variants) ?
