Version 0.34
- New game is recommended. I'm personally continuing a save from before this update, but there's enough large changes that I definitely recommend starting fresh if you aren't that far in your current save. If updating and continuing your save, see description for info on safely updating with as little issues as possible.

- All added followers/NPC mods and player home mods. These will come back in their own profile soon, but I decided that I prefer to play without these added NPCs.

- Immersive College NPCs to improve stability in the college and because I’m generally not a fan of adding NPCs as decoration. Also, one of them had a weird conflict where they’d glow weirdly.

- —————-—MISC FIXES——-—-——
- Fixed campfires not showing the correct textures
- Fixed bad parallax on maps
- Fixed a bug preventing BOS from working correctly
- Fixed Ancient Nord Dagger not appearing in game
- Fixed Shalidor statue having two orbs
- Fixed crash when entering the College of Winterhold
- Fixed JS Rugs causing the player to trip and be knocked unconscious by disabling it in the MCM
- Added Shadow of Skyrim configuration settings to MCM recorder - just enable the mod and you’ll be good to go now.
- Fixed Sleek Wolf Armor being included, but the wrong version. It is now craftable as light armor if the conditions are met
- Fixed some children NPCs appearing bald
- Fixed an issue where becoming a werewolf you could see the werewolf body clipping into the camera
- Removed most merges
- ESLified many esp plugins
- Boot up times are now 43% faster than the last update
- Adjusted Imaginator preset. If you’re updating, you’ll need to rerun MCM recorder (or just set Pop Photo Shoot to 0 in the Imaginator MCM)
-
Version 0.32
- Removed the previously included BBT Reshade for not being compatible with OpenComposite. I will not be replacing it with any other reshade as most VR reshades only apply a LUT and supersampling. Both of which can be done in other ways that are compatible with OpenComposite.
- Added IMAGINATOR to replace Reshade for editing the game’s overall colors (LUT so to speak) plus custom settings that will get set with a new game with MCM recorder. If updating and continuing a previous save, run MCM recorder to get my settings.
- IMAGINATOR uses in-game imagespace adjustments to define the look of the game. It is very performance friendly and it does essentially what an ENB does (as far as adjusting color goes), just without all of the fancy effects that we already get from Community Shaders anyways. As such, it is the perfect mod to complement Community Shaders and fully replace ENB for SkyrimVR. It also has zero performance cost and works with OpenComposite, making it a great replacement for Reshade as well.
- Added Azurite Weathers brightness options for night
- Removed Ethereal Clouds for being redundant with Azurite Weathers II
- Removed Rain Extinguishes Fires because it’s no longer VR compatible and the old version is not working with the latest EmbersXD update
- Removed the Coachman and the Ferrymen for somehow breaking carriage and ferry travel. I literally have no idea. I have not touched those mods since the last update, and loading the game only with those two mods and nothing else, the issue is present. I have no idea what changed, but they don’t work anymore. In any case, I found it annoying to not have late night carriage travel anyways.
- Added CFTO - Fixes and Winterhold, Minor Fix, Higher Travel Costs, and a patch for Missives
-
Version 0.31
- This update requires a new save. That said, this is probably the most non-save compatible changes I plan on making for a while, so you should be good to start a new save and still get some upcoming updates as we get closer to a 1.0 release.
- For this update I did a full refactor of the entire visuals and graphics section (dark green) along with many improvements to the entire list as a whole. Because this refactor had so many changes, I will not list every change here (as it would be too long). Instead I’ll provide a summary of the changes (in other words, I didn’t take very good notes lol).
- The goal of this refactor was to compare my list to the popular Nolvus list. The goal was not to imitate or match the aesthetics of Nolvus, but instead to improve my list by finding gaps in coverage and possible improvements. In short, I removed redundant mods, replaced mods with better alternatives, and added new mods to fill in the gaps on anything I was missing before. Unlike Nolvus, my goal is to keep Skyrim feeling and looking like Skyrim, but with significant enhancements. So no, this is not a copy of Nolvus.
- Removed Inferno entirely. I no longer think it is necessary, and it was making Ember XD look objectively worse. I also changed Smoking Torches and Candles to only apply to torches since I can’t think of a time I’ve seen a candle have as much smoke as STAC adds.
- Removed JK’s Sleeping Giant Inn for having too many conflicts with other mods in this list (such as be seated, parallax in general, and something with alchemy tables).
- Added JK’s Castle Volkihar
- Removed any of Ryn’s overhauls. In the future I will take a full look at all of Ryn’s overhauls to see if they’re worth adding, but after an initial test it feels like they generally modify the game too much for my liking. For example, Ryn’s Azura’s Shrine adds several buildings and a whole new dungeon.
- Replaced QW’s Grass Patch 2 with Nolvus Grass Mashup. This grass patch combines 6 different grass mods to create some of the best grass I’ve ever seen in Skyrim.
- Replaced Majestic Mountains with Enhanced Rocks and Mountains; ERM is lighter weight and so far seems to have much better blending.
- Replaced Atlantean Landscapes (was only using the mountain texture) with True Nordic Mountains. This fixes some blending issues that I put up with because I liked the Atlantean mountain texture that much. True Nordic Mountains with ERM is nearly as good, and doesn’t have any weird blending issues so it’s a net positive.
- Improved snow by fixing conflicts with Simplicity of Snow (it’s full working now) and adding Paraphernalia - Snow Colour Fixes to ensure snow on LODs blend better with terrain.
- Replaced Better Dynamic Ash with Shaders of Solstheim and Ashbound
- Created new sections to overhaul all 5 major cities in Skyrim. These sections include dozens of new mods that fix bugs and improve the overall look for each city. I tried nearly EVERY single city retexture on Nexus and settled with generally using Skyrim 202X (which I was already doing) for mostly everything, with some specific mods overwriting things like doors, roofs, and other small objects.
- Added Dwemer Pipework Reworked and Golden Dwemer Pipeworks Redone; along with all the patches necessary to ensure that nearly every piece of Dwemer metal in the game now matches GDPR. This is a phenomenal mod (despite the number of required patches). If you see any Dwemer metal that doesn’t match GDPR, let me know!
- Along with the cities, added sections for full texture/model overhauls for Farmhouses, Dungeons, and many key locations that you’ll come across (including DLC locations). Farmhouses now use textures from Farmhouses of the Nords, which are honestly remarkable textures.
- Added dozens of mods that replace models and textures in the following categories: interiors (furniture and stuff), exteriors, food, ingredients, crafting stations, key items, and misc. clutter.
- Replaced Deadly Dragons with Dragon War and all requirements. This improves dragon enemies by increasing the shouts they can use, improving the difficulty progression, better loot, and more. I’m also hoping it will be less buggy than Deadly Dragons. This mod recommends a new save when installing.
- Replaced Splendor - Dragon Variants with Infinite Dragon Variants (better compatibility with Dragon War).
- Added Dragon Hunting which adds some radiant quests and better loot from dragons
- Added Dynamic Random Dragons which should make dragon encounters less common and more random.
- Added the full set of Quest Expansion mods by jayserpa. I find that these improve the vanilla quests seamlessly, fixing many of the issues I also have with them.
- Added Simple Wearable Lanterns, which provides a couple of lanterns that can be worn. Also included is Usable Vanilla Lanterns, which adds the wearable lanterns as loot throughout Skryim using BOS.
- Replaced Animated Eating Redux with Randomized Vanilla Food Animations as a lighter-weight alternative that only affects NPCs. The Basic Dining Set Tankard Patch is still included.
- Added Vanilla Eating Animation Fixes to further improve how NPCs eat and drink.
- Added Blade and Blunt VR; since there’s no easy way to see an active injury with this port, I’ve disabled the injuries in the original mod’s ini. Feel free to reenable it if you want. It does work, it just won’t show on your health bar.
- Replaced FEC with Paraphernalia - End of Life; in my opinion it’s much more realistic and works more consistently.
- Replaced Precious Objects Complex Material and Dynamic Cubemap with GG's Complex Silverware
- Removed Realistic Boat Bobbing for having duplicate overlapping boats even with all of the correct patches
- Removed Dwemer Researcher Outfit for not having a good patch for GDPR
- Fixed Sleeping Hist Tree not appearing
- Removed Thogra for having an annoying quest marker
- Replaced Individual Shout Cooldowns with Shout Cooldowns That Make Sense
- Added Vibrant Weapons EAE (and all requirements) which now brings phenomenal looking particle effects to enchanted weapons. This replaces the old buggy version of this mod that was in the optional section, but it is now enabled by default.
- Added Mortal Enemies
- Added Spell Auto-Aim VR as an optional mod
- Added Map Markers for Navigate VR
- Added Show Follower Carry Weight
- Added Eagle Eye Cursor Replacer for Skyrim VR
- Added Adamant Tweaks for ADXP and VR
- Dozens of other minor changes, improvements, and upgrades.
- Updated various mods in the VR and System Overhauls sections
-
Version 0.30
- It should be safe to update mid-save from the previous version if you haven't started the college questline and haven't left items in Rayek's End. Always make sure to follow the instructions in the description for safely updating mid-save.
- Added the BBT Reshade for Azurite Weathers with some settings turned off to make it look and run better in VR. This is mainly used to provide a nice LUT to enhance the overall look and to add ambient lighting. It has a slight performance cost, and can be disabled if you don’t like the look or simply want better performance.
- Added a config file for Vanilla HDR to pair it with the new reshade. Removed Vanilla HDR from the optional sections and made it enabled by default.
- Added Alluring Sunsets and Sunrises for Azurite Weathers
- Added a new performance section for mods that can be disabled to increase performance. I will add more mods to this section as I find more mods that increase performance overall when they are disabled.
- Added Unmarked Locations Pack All in One
- Disabled MageVR and added it to the optional mod section for causing issues on some systems
- Removed College of Winterhold - Quest Expansion for causing issues with the college questline (may add back later)
- Removed Rayek’s End for preventing some people from downloading the mod list and for having it’s own issues that I can’t figure out
- Updated Lollygaggin’ and removed my custom patch now that it’s built into the mod. Also moved it down in the load order to fix the purple armor bug
- Reran DynDOLOD
-
Version 0.29
- It should be safe to update mid-save from the previous version, but make sure to follow the instructions in the description for safely updating mid-save.
- Updated MO2 to the latest version and changed a setting so that warnings no longer appear for having stuff in the overwrite folder.
- Added No Grass in Objects, Grass Cache Helper NG, and a custom made grass cache for the list. With this, I see a slight performance gain and less grass in objects (it’s not perfect).
- Replaced Guards Armor Replacer with Lollygaggin, a new armor replacers for guards that’s closer to vanilla and generally much better. I also created a custom patch that fixes it being incompatible with complex parallax materials. This solves the bug where some gloves had a weird green color.
- Added back Azurite Mists - I think I fixed the flickering I had seen before
- Added Parallax Bridges and Roads and Cleaner Bridges to improve some of the parallax texturing on bridges
- Added Snowy Landscapes in Snowy Regions
- Added Disable Gray-Main Cow to fix the cow sitting on the balcony in Whiterun
- Added NPC Dialogue Audio Enhancer
- Added Factions - Events - Conditions - Keywords - Other Follower Functions to reduce followers talking over other NPCs
- Added Motionless Rocks Killing People Fix
- Added No Silly Physics Damage
- Added Sconces of Solitude
- Added Medieval Wines for Dungeons and Tombs
- Added JK’s Inns - Declutter and Performance
- Added Dragon Breath VFX Edit
- Added Deadly Dragons for more interesting dragon fights
- Added No Combat Screams
- Added Skyfall’s Sleeping Hist Tree Overhaul
- Added G.I.R.T.H to overhaul Gildergreen
- Added Unfaltered Virtue
- Added Melee Power Knockback
- Added improved College Entry - Questline Tweaks to make entering the college a little bit more immersive and streamlined.
- Added College of Winterhold Light Pillars FIX so that the light pillars are always lit, even if Faralda misses them initially.
- Added OCW - Spectral Sparring Essential Tweak
- Added OCW and Sunhelm - Water Source Patch
- Added Reforging - To the Masses - Consistency Patches that fixes some texture issues on some of the items. Also removes certain crafting recipes and changes tempering recipes to be consistent with the rest of the game.
- Removed More Tavern Idles for causing some scripted sequences to not work
- Replaced RUDL with Vanilla Forest Logs Pruned (better coverage)
- Removed Nature of the Wild Lands completely for causing some purple trees.
- Replaced Castle Volkihar Rebuilt with JK’s Castle Volkihar (still missing a lux patch)
- Removed Just Ice and RIS as they were overwriting RIM. I believe Icy Mesh Remaster and RIM are the perfect ice combo.
- Replaced Jazbay Graps by Renthal with the ones by Mari
- Removed Grindstone Variants for causing broken textures on grindstones and so that ElSopa’s grindstone can be used.
- Removed the RSV patch for BnP Teeth as it was giving some NPCs teeth that were not immersive
- Removed Diverse Werewolf Collection for causing some werewolves to be invisible
- Removed My Axe for not fitting into the overall art style
- Removed Sorcerer for having missing textures with SkyrimVR
- Removed Interesting Follower Requirements for Interesting NPCs because it was not obvious why you couldn’t recruit certain followers. I’m also considering removing Interesting NPCs altogether for not being super immersive or vanilla friendly. Still included for now.
- Removed Sounds of Skyrim completely. Let me know if you run into any interiors not using LUX lighting (I had that issue last time I tried removing it).
- Fixed Lucien not talking
- Adjusted the position of the RaceMenu for better ergonomics in VR
- Updated HIGGS
- Temporarily removed Race Armor Expansion for causing some Thalmor to be naked
- Added an optional mod for toggling bDepthBufferCulling. It is in enabled by default because it adds a ton of extra performance. The downside is that you'll occasionally see some objects flickering, such as the rock leading to the Helgen entrance. Because of this, I added the mod so that those who want to can turn it off.
- Added a section in the optional mods for performance options.
-
Version 0.28
- IMPORTANT: If updating mid-save, I recommend rerunning MCM recorder to get the latest recommended settings. You should also go to Obody
- IMPORTANT: If updating mid-save, you may run into naked NPCs. This is because this update modifies the leveled lists. To fix, use console commands or Simple Outfit System (enable for all relationship level NPCs in MCM) and reset the naked NPCs outfit.
- Did extensive research on the biology of the various races and reinstalled BnP and RSV with choices designed to be more accurate to their biology while still providing a lot of variety. Also made some of the muscular differences in particular less exaggerated and more natural.
- Added OBody for body distribution along with a custom made config file that distributes hand picked Bodyslide presets to all of the races. Each Bodyslide preset was carefully selected to represent each race and gender. I also made sure to keep the differences as subtle as possible; this isn’t something you should notice unless you’re looking for it or have put a lot of points into perception. The differences between female races is more obvious than the men, and the difference between the beasts, mer, and human races will be more obvious as well. I’ll include a full breakdown of my choices in Nexus page description (when I find time to write it).
- Added Heights of Skyrim, which adjusts the height of all NPCs based on their race and background.
- I took another look at all of the follower mods that were included and removed many low quality ones that had neck seams (and didn’t have a good patch to fix it), that I found annoying (adding debug spells for example), or that made drastic changes to the game (such as adding a building in Markarth in the case of Mirai). I also decided to add/keep followers that specifically use custom voice lines to interact with each other.
- Removed the following followers: Malora, Frida, Hoth, Shirley, Vivace, Chaconne, Mirai, Claire, Ram-Ku, Recorder, and Lyssia
- Added the orc follower Thogra so that we have at least one good orc follower, and she interacts with some of the included followers.
- Kept many of the followers merged to save esp slots for other mods.
- Replaced Realistic RS Children with Children of the North because I couldn’t fix a couple of issues. Children of the North works flawlessly and looks great.
- Added Shadow of Skyrim as an immersive and optional alternate death system. For this mod to actually work, you will need to enable it in the MCM menu (and turn on the developer setting to make it compatible with alternate start mods). Do NOT disable the mod mid-save from MO2. If you decide to stop using it, use the MCM menu to disable it. See the mod page for more details, but I think it’s one of the most fun and immersive additions to Skyrim I’ve found in a while!
- Added Simple Beheading - NG because chopping heads off in VR is awesome.
- Added Maximum Carnage as an optional mod for those that want even more gore. I personally don’t like all of the added guts, but the slow mo deaths are genuinely pretty cool. Everything is setup to work using Weapon Throw VR’s integration for it, just enable the mod if you want it.
- Added Maximum Skeletons as a pre-requisite for Maximum Carnage
- Added Seamless Arrow Nocking VR which just makes it so you don’t have to press trigger again to nock the arrow. Just hold trigger from when you grab it to nocking it, and only let go to shoot (IMMERSION)
- Added Floating Hanging Moss Fix to get rid of some hanging moss that was particularly noticeable in JK’s Sky Haven temple
- Added Hanging moss by Mari
- Added Reanimated NPC Animations
- Added Awesome Potions Simplified
- Added Dynamic Vampire Appearance
- Added LockBash NG
- Added No More Absorb Swirl Effect which gets rid of the constant swirling on Forsworn
- Added Rally’s Banners of Skyrim
- Added UIExtensions
- Added Vaermina's Torpor - Enhanced
- Made RaceMenu enabled by default to make OBody work
- Better organized the weapons & armors section. Added patches for better distribution, for Bodyslide, and general fixes for added armors. I also removed some sets that I felt didn’t fit into the world, were female only, or didn’t have good bodyslide patches.
- Added armors from the 4thUnknown: Daedric Armor, Dremora Markynaz, Dust Adept, Dwemer Armor, Mythic Dawn Armor, and Infantry Armor.
- Added QND SPID 4th Unknown Pack which distributes the above armors to general NPCs in a way that makes sense.
- Added Vampire Armor Expansion
- Added More Dialogue Options
- Removed VickusDickus’ Khajiiti Apex Armory
- Removed Stormhold Warrior Armor
- Removed Gigaduex’s Armor Sets
- Removed zzjay’s Wardrobe
- Removed Crimson Twilight Armor
- Removed Ebonscale
- Removed Black Sacrament Armor
- Removed Onyx Lancer Armor
- Removed Kellan Armor
- Updated Engine Fixes VR
- Updated Weapon Throw VR
- Updated OAR
- Updated misc. followers and added some patches for them
- Added iNeed Water as an addon for playing with Sunhelm
- Added USSEP - Soul Trap Spell - Patch to fix Soul Trap not working
- Removed No Snow Under Roof because it is redundant and incompatible with Simplicity of Snow
- Disabled vanilla autosave via .ini
- Added misc. other patches and updates (sorry, I forget to take notes sometimes)
- Reran DynDOLOD with improved settings for tree LODs (I think)
-
Version 0.27.1
- Removed Interesting NPCs Visual Overhaul for causing bald females. It was probably a simple fix, but I already include Modpocalypse's overhaul of Interesting NPCs and it actually covers all of the NPCs, not just the women.
- Synthesis is now packaged, along with all of the required patchers and their order
- Zedit is now packaged, along with all data related to my merges
- LOOT-backup is added back as it was accidentally removed in the last update
-
Version 0.27
- Updated the name and profile of the modlist to Panda's Sovngarde
- NOTE: this update should be safe to install mid-save, but due to the extensive changes to the leveled lists and NPCs in general, you may run into minor cosmetic issues like naked NPCs. If this happens, using console commands to reset the NPC usually fixes the issue and these issues should be fixed if starting a new game.
- NOTE: with the updated profile name, you will not immediately see your old saves. If you had backed them up before updating, simply transfer them to the new profile. Otherwise, switch to the (now broken) old profile (Panda's Immersive SkyrimVR Experience) to copy your saves to your PC, then to the new profile (Panda's Sovngarde)
- As I strive to make this the most realistic overhaul of Skyrim, I had to admit that being surrounded by extremely hot models is not immersive. So I decided to take another look at the NPC overhauls to see if I could introduce some more realistic looking NPCs. I ended up using the Northbourne series of NPC overhauls as the main overhaul because they’re the absolute best at making NPCs feel real. For example, Bijin made Delphine look like she was in her 20s, which is a bit confusing when you hear her talking about a war she was in that was decades ago. Northbourne remedies this, making her look her age. And she’s just one example of how Northbourne excels at realism and immersion.
- NOTE: if you see anything weird with any NPCs, please let me know. It’s very difficult to ensure that all NPCs in the entire game are free of issues, but I did my best.
- Outlined below is the full list of NPC overhauls in the order they’re loaded:
- Kept Nordic Faces as the base overhaul and added the Immersive Encounters version
- Added Modpocalypse NPCs for some mod added NPCs such as Interesting NPCs, Immersive College NPCs, Carriage and Ferry Travel Overhaul, Obscure’s College of Winterhold, Azura Shrine Temple, and JK’s Skyrim
- Added A Rose in the Snow as a base female NPC overhaul to pick up what the following mods miss
- Kept BeastHHB as a base overhaul for beasts (and the primary overhaul for Khajiit)
- Added Children of the Hist to overhaul Argonians
- Added Children of the Pariah to overhaul Orcs
- Kept Kalilies NPCs
- Kept all of Pandorable’s NPC overhauls. Many of theses are redundant, but are required for the merged versions.
- Removed Bijin completely for making NPCs look too much like models
- Added all of the available NPC Overhauls from the Northbourne series as the primary NPC overhaul
- Merged all of the main NPC overhauls to reduce plugin count and to make it easier to maintain their load order
- Added Misc. patches for the above overhauls
- Added Vanilla complex Parallax - Dungeons to prevent purple textures with Terrain Parallax Blending Fix
- Added Skyrim Textures Redone - SkyHaven - Parallax
- Added Iconic’s Alduin’s Wall Retexture

- Merged some gameplay mechanics to make room for new mods
- Reran Bodyslide for certain armors, including the male body which previous looked like half the chest was missing
- Removed KS Hairdos and all related mods
- Removed BnP - Eye Overhaul
- Removed Immersive Weapons’ Iron Tanto from the leveled lists (saw it popping up too often)
- Removed Cinematic Dragon Soul Absorption for having distorted audio files
- Removed High Poly Vanilla Underwear for causing neck seams on female characters
- Removed Immersive Weapons and Immersive Armors for appearing too outdated, causing bugs, requiring too many patches, and overall reducing the quality and stability of the list
-

-
Version 0.21
- Replaced Cathedral Weathers, Improved Rain and Fog for Cathedral Weathers, and Thunder Sounds - Wizkid Mix for Azurite Weathers II, Azurite Weathers II - Expansion, and Supreme Weathers for Azurite Weathers II. This new weather combo is slightly less performant for me, but the tradeoff is worth the upgrades in my opinion. I still recommend using the included meditation power to set the world view to Bleak and then Cold to get a slightly more filmic look.
- Added an optional Dyndolod Output with grass LODs. This is not enabled by default because of the performance cost and because the grass LODs coloring doesn’t match the regular grass in all lighting situations (not sure if there’s actually a way to fix this), which is in my opinion a downgrade to just not having them (considering the performance cost at least). But it is now there as an option.
- Turned Complex Grass Lighting down to 0.699 (was set to 1.0 before)
- Improved Dyndolod settings that should increase performance while looking much better than before (particularly in the worldmap)
- Added a performance grass option that greatly improves performance in grassy areas
- Set fRenderTargetSizeMultiplier to 1 instead of 2 - I’m not sure how it got set to 2, but there’s now a huge performance gain. I recommend using DLAA to makeup for the sharpness difference.
- Made Neutral VR Animations for VRIK and PCEA2 work with DAR
- Removed Reduce Grass Density for being redundant
- Removed Companions Dialogue Bundle for having bad sounding AI lines that broke immersion
- Removed More To Say for adding too many dialogue options (which I found annoying)
- Removed Realistic Boat Bobbing for causing crashes

- Removed Ilinalta for causing some water seams
- Removed Snazzy Quill of Gemination for being incompatible with Rally’s Feather and Ink and causing CTD
- Removed aMidianBorn Content Addon (regular) leaving only the light version active

-
Version 0.18
- Made sure almost every mod was up to date

- Added a Bodyslide NSFW addon that gives all female NPCs a nude body when not wearing armor. Designed using a variation of the preset mentioned above, but with less “support”
- Fixed bug with missing Dragon texture (Updated Higher Poly Vanilla Dragon Skeleton and Bone Clutter)
- Fixed bug with bow sounds being too loud / playing globally (removed Deadeye - Bow SFX)

-
Version 0.17
- Quick fix for Wabbajack failing to compile
- Quick fix for broken saves - updated Skyrim VR ESL support
-
Version 0.16
- Removed all ENB, Reshade, and Weather options. I personally only use Cathedral Weathers with Community Shaders, so it became tiresome to update and maintain ENBs and weathers that I’m never going to us, especially as new ENBs and Reshades keep on releasing. If you wish to add any of these mods, feel free to do so. All of the required files are still included already.
- Completely cleaned and organized the section for CREATURES. Removed redundant mods, added mods for creatures needing improvement, and organized all creatures into clearly defined sections. Read the updated section on creatures in the description for more information.
- Added Steeds of Ultima, which fixes VR Mounted combat
- Added Natural Waterfalls for much better looking waterfalls

- Added Unique Armors and Weapons Retexture
- Removed Markarth City Entrance for having some issues
-
Version 0.15
- Added Skyrim VR ESL Support
- Removed all merges and made new merges for some of the remaining .esp files. The mod list is now more customizable since the mods that are merged are clearly marked, and include only a small amount of the mods (and not any you would want to change anyways).
- Replaced Embers HD with Embers XD. Didn't have it before since I didn't want to deal with the patches, but now that .esl files are supported in VR, it's super easy to include.
- Replaced Alternate Start with Realm of Lorkhan along with a patch that adds the Dragonstone to Lorkhan. While ASLAL is a wonderful mod, it had some incompatabilities I could not resolve. Plus ROL now allows me to skip Bleak Falls Barrow and get into the game more quickly.
- Added Terrain Parallax Blending Fix now that HD Remastered Landscapes supports it.
- Added various lights for ENB from RemmyKun, Rudy, and JS
- Removed Origins of the Forest patch for ENB for causing floating flowers
- Removed Immersive Hold Borders because it broke immersion for me and made Skyrim feel too small
- Removed Pinegrove Lodge for incompatibility
- Removed Immersive Armors because some of the uglier options were appearing too frequently. Will look into some of the available patches for this and possibly include it again without the uglier inclusions.
- Removed misc. other small mods for incompatibilities or issues when not merged. Too many small changes for me to remember all of them! Moved around, updated, and removed various mods to get the list running again without all of the previous merges. And unfortunately, I did not keep detailed notes while trying to get it to stop crashing. Next updates will have more detailed information
-
Version 0.14
- Added Open Composite back since it was never packaged (accidentally)
-
Version 0.13
- Hotfix for "Unable to download enbseries_skyrimvr_v0457.zip" error
- Fixes for some water seams that I found
- Fixes for some bad parallax textures
-
Version 0.12
- Replaced Omnibus with HD Remastered Landscapes for the main terrain textures. I feel like these are the best all around textures. Every other overhaul always had one or two textures I hated, but not this one! Every single texture looks amazing now, but I'm still using the alternate snow textures for Skyrim 202x
- Added Skyrim VR OpenComposite Fixes Custom Build as the version of OpenComposite used. It now works with Virtual Desktop, and is basically free performance (a LOT of free performance) if you’re playing on Quest.
- Add Madmen, a complete overhaul to Forsworn, Hagraven, and Witch enemies with new enemy types, more leveled tiers, and improved spells and stats.
- Replaced Drop on Death with Drop on Death (changed from the old obsolete mod to the new version)

-
Version 0.11

- Added QW’s Grass Patch 2 which combines Cathedral 3D Pine Grass (also newly added), Origins of the Forest, and Folkvangr together.
- Added the Omnibus as the main terrain texture overhaul. Still using Atlantean Landscape, but only for the mountain textures.
- Added Skyrim 202X alternative textures for wet mud and snow, which both overwrite Omnibus.
- Added a variety of higher poly models and improvements by Pieter82. This includes some mods that use Base Object Swapper to randomize and provide more variety to some objects, such as the alchemy table. Now every time you see an alchemy table, it’ll have a slightly different arrangement, making it look like it is actually used on a regular basis.
- Added Skill Based Dynamic Animations which makes characters use different animations for sneaking, magic, and archery based on their skill level.
- Added Relaxed Sneak Animations which as recommended for the above mod.
- Added Training Dummies Redone, Spell Tomes Animated, and Retractable Bridge Texture Consistency
- Removed Elysium Estate for issues with grass. Will add back if I ever get around to doing a custom grass cache with NGIO.
- Disabled Stop Trigger For Unsheathing VR which was making it near impossible to punch (because you need to unsheathe your fists to punch). It’s still included in the Optional VR mods in case someone runs into issues accidentally sheathing weapons when they don’t want to.
- Set VRIK sneak offset to -45, allowing for vcrouch when sneaking.
- Removed Clever Chariff's AIO and Skyland AIO to save space because they weren't really doing anything (most of their files were overwritten by other mods).
-
Version 0.10
- This update requires a new save
- Updated Community Shaders and added Light Limit Fix, Complex Parallax Materials, Grass Collision, and updated Grass Lighting. Also added Subsurface Scattering Shaders for Skins and LLF Particle Lights instead of Fake Glow. Altogether, this is the biggest visual improvement to SkyrimVR I’ve ever seen! I plan to experiment with more terrain parallax options and add more ENB lights in future updates.
- Added Cubemap Reflections, which adds reflections to water, another huge visual improvement for the game
- Removed SkyVRaan for being incompatible with Cubemap Reflections, and true reflections are better anyways
- Added Immersive Spell Effects Emit Light, which makes spell effects that linger on the ground emit light
- Added JK’s College of Winterhold and a patch to combine it with Obscure’s College of Winterhold for the ultimate magic experience.
- Added a custom tree patch to make Ulvenwald work with JK’s College
- Removed MArc - Muken’s Arcane Archery for conflicting with OCW and other mods (and I never used it anyways). Feel free to add back, it will just cause major clipping in places like the college.
- Replaced This is Jorrvaskr with JK’s Jorrvaskr since TIJ had severe light flickering even with the correct LUX patches
- Removed Jorrvaskr Tavern and Companions NPCS since it worked best with This is Jorrvaskr
- Added Pseudo Physical Weapon Collision and Parry AE SE VR, which allows for more realistic parrying. Also removed Parrying RPG (which this mod replaces)
- Added VR Equip, a mod that lets you equip armor by bringing it to your body, face, hands, or feet
- Added Gift by Hand VR, which allows you to give followers items by grabbing them with one hand, and giving them the item in the other
- Added a series of Animated Tents mods
- Added Sovngarde Watcher, a retexture for Sovngarde Watcher statues
- Replaced DAR with OAR for animations
- Removed Sky Idles for causing NPCs (especially children) to frequently use an animation that made them look like little gremlins trying to hide something
- Added a patch that removes the Khajiit Will Follow quest from the journal when starting a new game
- Removed I’m Walkin’ Here for not being compatible with PLANCK
- Added SCROTE, for a variety of script fixes
-
Version 0.9
- Created a custom LUX patch that should ensure that all interiors have LUX lighting. If you find an interiors that go back to vanilla lighting, please let me know so I can fix it.
- Fixed a mistake from the last update that broken followers
- Removed Populated Cities Towns Villages for breaking immersion. It added so many NPCs, that they would all bunch up near taverns and do nothing. Felt it broke immersion more than added, so decided to remove it.
- Removed Immersive Fort Dawnguard for incompatibilities causing holes, missing floors, and other issues.
-
Version 0.8
- Reran Dyndolod. Make sure to follow Dyndolod’s safe save instructions before updating.
- Added Traverse the Ulvenwald as the primary tree mod (more on why below)
- Removed all added trees from Nature of the Wild Lands, but kept it for unique trees and forest debris with a patch
- While I loved Nature of the Wild Lands, it REALLY hurt performance thanks to the increase of trees. Also, its LODs were also really ugly and killed immersion. For both of these reasons I looked for a new tree mod, and settled on Ulvenwald. Like NOTWL, it adds more trees (and increases variety) but doesn’t add nearly as many, which means better performance while also making the forests thicker and more diverse. It is also much more vibrant (I like dark pines) while still remaining realistic. It was this or Happy Little Trees, and I settled on this because I like the idea of adding more trees, not just replacing the vanilla tree models.
- Added HD Dead Trees and Driftwoods
- Added Immersive Fallen Trees
- Added RUDL, which removes unpleasant details from logs
- Added Hjertesten Hall, a player home and settlement near Riften
- Removed Citizens of Tamriel for having unimmersive and annoying additions (great mod though)
- Added Populated Cities Towns Villages to add more life and realism to the world
- Added Purist’s Vanilla Patch to undo some unnecessary changes from other mods (you know which one)
- Added Skyland Bits and Bobs
- Added Guards and Stormcloaks Armors Retexture (Stormcloak only)
- Replaced Better Signage with Clearer Trade Signs
- Added Paarthurnax Dilemma
- Added Lyssia, a new follower with thousands of voice lines
- Added Skyrim - Settlement Builder, which adds over 1450 objects to build
- Add Footprints which adds footprints to snow from the player, NPCs, and creatures.
- Added Immersive Death Cycles, which makes corpses decay over time.
- Added more informative console for easier debugging
- Removed Falkreath Treehouse Alchemist Edition for performance and I couldn’t resolve trees clipping into it
- Removed Racemenu for preventing players from selecting different races
- Ran Bodyslide for all armors and clothes
- Set bDepthBufferCulling=1 and fMinOccludeeBoxExtent=60 to increase performance
- Fixed an issue with LUX causing Dwemer lamps’ fires to have missing textures
- Fixed an issue with ASLAL causing a hole in the ground near Shoal’s Rest Farm
- Known issue: some trees clipping in Riverwood
- Known issue: grass LODs not working yet
- Known issue: neck seem on some followers
-
Version 0.7
- The mod list should install without failing now! I just tested it, and it completed installation as intended. Hopefully this works for everyone else as well!
- Fixed major issues with Dyndolod. Object LODs should work as intended. The world map now has tree and other object LODs. Using the Vivid version of a Quality World Map now. If updating, follow Dyndolod's instructions for a clean save before updating!
- Increased performance significantly with low quality LODs (I literally can’t tell the difference visually) and with DLSS turned on by default. I now get 80 - 90 fps in most areas of the game on a RTX 3090
- Fixed conflict between Atlantean Landscapes and Folkvangr. Folkvangr grass terrain textures will now show where there is grass, and Atlantean Landscapes will show everywhere else.
- Replaced Apothecary’s Food and Drink Addon with Gourmet - A Cooking Overhaul (from the same author)
- Removed Hunterborn and Skills of the Wild; these mods add a lot in flatrim, but not in VR
- Removed iHUD, allowing the compass to appear and work as normal
- Swapped out Sacrilege with Scion for the Vampire Overhaul to be consistent with other Simonrim mods
- Added 7 craftable armor sets: Dwemer Researcher, Khajiit Apex Armory, HDT-SMP Traveler’s Backpack, Kellan HDT-SMP Armor, Adventurer HDT-SMP Armor, Shadow Duelist Armor, and Kresiste’s Adventurer Armor.

- Added a variety of small replacers from TB
- Added Nocturnal Moths: adds moths flying around lights at night
- Added Lawless - A Bandit Overhaul
- Removed Pull Mastery for being OP, breaking immersion, and compatibility issues
- Removed Waymark, fixing the duplicate road signs
-

- Added JK’s Riverfall Cottage to replace a Tiniest Shack as a player home in Riverwood
- Added Hidden Hideouts of Skyrim: a collection of small hideouts scattered throughout Skryim
- Merged various gameplay overhauls and fixed some that weren’t working
- Overhauled carriage travel with the Coachmen, Detailed Carriages, Carriage Drivers - New Clothing, and CFTO
- Added Ships on the Horizon and Moving Ships for added immersion
- Removed Take a Peak because it was crashing
- Removed Immersive Dark Brotherhood Sanctuarys for locking players inside sanctuary if starting as a member of the guild through ASLAL
-
Version 0.5
- Added Community Shaders and the Grass Lighting addon now that they are both compatible with VR. NOTE: community shaders is not compatible with ENB, and will automatically disable itself if you use an ENB.
- Removed Complete Crafting Overhaul Remastered for requiring too many patches and being buggy (I couldn't stop it from giving you XP when using the sorting)
- Added Simple Smithing Overhaul to replace CCOR. It does almost everything CCOR did besides sorting, and requires less patches.
- Overhauled Khajiit and Argonian Races with Khajiit Aesthetics Compilation (eyes only), Better Khajiit male/female Texture, Forgotten Argonian Roots, BeastHHBB, and Kabu's Argonian Fns
- Added Companions Dialogue Bundle and Brawl Lines Expansion to add more lines to NPCs
- Added a Dog's Life to improve the functionality of dogs
- Added Dino's Spell Discovery. Can still use spell tomes if desired, but I think this is the coolest and most immersive way to learn new spells.
- Added Scroll Ingredients and Shop Sells Paper to make it easier to get materials required for researching new spells.
- Removed Heavy Armory. I like the spears, but I saw too many tridents, and tridents don’t really fit the aesthetic of the game in my opinion.
- Removed Sons of Skyrim for compatibility issues. Guards Armor Replacer is still included for new guard armors.
- Reverted SPID VR to 6.4.0 to fix NPCs randomly spawning with no clothes.
- Split JK's Interiors into 3 separate merges to make it easier to manage.
- Removed Cloaks of Skyrim for causing NPCs to spawn naked. Will re-add if I can fix this incompatibility.
- Added Paraphernalia - Magicka
- Reran Dyndolod
- Known issue: Azura statue missing LOD
-
Version 0.4
- This update WILL require a new save. Try using a save cleaner if you want.
- Added Open World Loot (OWL) to improve the loot in Skyrim.
- Added hundreds of armor and weapons, along with all the necessary patches for OWL.
- Armor and weapon mods added or updated to work with OWL: WACCF and ACE, Armor Variants Expansion, Cloaks of Skyrim (and retexture), Immersive Armors (and retexture), NordWarUA’s Race Armor Expansion, Heavy Armory, Immersive Weapons, Reforging - To the Masses, Lore Weapon Expansion, Skyrim Weapons Expansion, Thieves Guild Dagger, Dawnguard Arsenal, Scoped Bows, Silverthorn Weaponry, Nibenean Armors, Forsworn Fashions, Fashions of the Banditry, and AmidianBorn Content Addon.
- OWL also changes the enemy levels to make it more challenging. It does basically the same thing as Arena, but with a level cap. I’ve overwritten OWL with Arena to remove this level cap.
- Added some unique armor and weapons that are NOT integrated with OWL. Many of these are unique items obtained in very specific locations or through added quests. A few packs have SPID integration instead of OWL integration for a variety of reasons. I recommend looking at this list to see if there’s any you want to find in game (and where), such as My Axe which gives you a customizable and upgradeable axe and can be found in Helgen.
- Armor and Weapon mods added that are not integrated with OWL: Black Sacrament Armor, Northern God Armor, Kvetchi Mercenary Set, Wind Ruler Armor, Onyx Lancer Armor, Ebonscale Armor, Crimson Twilight Armor, zzjay’s Wardrobe, Gigaduex’s Armor Sets, My Axe, The Huntsman, Staff of Bloodstained Chalice, Artifacts - the Ice Blade of the Monarch, Royal Armory, Lunar Guard Armor (SPID), Drifter Armor and Outfit (SPID), and Fashions of the Hunstmen (SPID plus a custom patch by me to remove it from a specific character).
- Added every weapon and armor retexture by xavbio. These replaced a few retextures I had already from other authors. xavbio does an amazing job with these retextures and it gives almost all vanilla equipment a clean and modern feel, as well as a consistent look since they’re all done by the same author. The only one I’m not using is the Dwemer Armors and Weapons because I’m using a specific retexture (an edit to Amidianborn’s retexture) that matches the color of the armor to the look and color of Dwemer metal in the included retexture, Ancient Dwemer Metal. Amidianborn, Cathedral Amory, and a few other retextures are included to cover any textures missed by xavbio.
- Created preset MCM settings which will auto activate on a new game thanks to MCM Recorder. You can also use MCM recorder to make your own settings for multiple playthroughs.
- Removed Sunhelm from merged mods so that it works with the needs bars.
- Organized and recolored sections in MO2
- Add Sorcerer - A Staff and Scroll Overhaul
- Added SkyRem Activators and Economy for increased immersion.
-
Version 0.3
- Reran Dyndolod without grass cache to get rid of weird giant bushes
- Added several armor and animal mods
- Armors with fur are now fluffy like the animals
- Fixed a bug that prevented Atlantean textures from showing and working properly. It doesn't work 100% of the time, but there is now beautiful terrain parallax in some places. Best place to see it is by the ponds right outside of Whiterun
- Removed Skyrim Revamped and Hand Placed enemies because they were both causing issues with LUX. Using Arena, for now, and will look into a new loot system like OWL if I can get it to stop breaking LUX.
- Replaced Edmond's Shouts with Simonrim's shouts overhaul, Stormcrown. The custom skill tree is incompatible with VR, but you can still benefit from the shout skills in the Speech skill tree.
- Removed an audio overhaul that caused the overly loud fire and other annoying SFX
