    Changelog 1.1 (optional) 6/21/2023

Added an optional file for Elegant Werewolf Overhaul users that just contains the handful of needed files and a default texture set (rock timber + yellow eyes) and options for eye maps/normal maps. My main file isn't needed and downloading both is redundant.

Some quick notes for users of Elegant Werewolf Overhaul!

Please do not report problems about stretching ears and such on my mod page if you are using Elegant Werewolf Overhaul. It's not my doing and there's nothing I can do about it. Follow the author's instructions on that mod page to help prevent it.

Do not use my standalone ESP file in my main mod if you are using Elegant Werewolf Overhaul. It's not needed since that mod actually uses Elegant Werewolves for Diverse Werewolves Collection. Mine's a band-aid, EWO actually solves the problem.

If you don't like Rock Timber + Yellow eyes, download the main file or replace the smaller file's base textures with some from EWO.

If you still have missing texture problems with my optional file, let me know and I'll see what I forgot.

If you are commenting about an issue, TELL ME please if you are using this mod as well!

This is the best werewolf replacer by far, high poly smooth no jagged edge all around. The model with textures that are not stretched or blurry and has superior 3d fur that's not visual noise to look at. Also vanilla shape, compatible with other skeleton mods. Unless someone remakes the vanilla model into high poly verision with 8k textures, this is hands down the best skyrim werewolve replacer by far. Anyone that says otherwise is a blind imbecile.

Although, I do hope you release a tastful female model, but I happy with the main verision. Much better upgrade over the vanilla one.

I remember there are plans to add a female werewolf model for this mod. Is it going to be an update to this, or a separate mod?

      Update to this.
No ETA, and repeated negative comments in this thread (and EWO) has ruined my motivation for the model as a whole. But it will return eventually. Just right now, the entitled and bitchy behavior of the Nexus Community is making it hard to sit down at the computer for hours taking countless screenshots and cropping them just to update more colors, much less the work (and funds) for a female model.

But yes, should that ever actually happen, it will be an update here with options in the FOMOD about it.

And as a PSA: I'm not saying you're part of the discouragement, I'm just speaking in general that updates will be slow to you and whomever else may stumble across this comment section.

Aw man, I am really sorry to hear that. I know that has been an issue in the past with other mods I have followed. I hope you feel better and just do what you enjoy. I appreciate the work you have shared and I wish you the best in what you choose to follow next!

Is it possible to get a Fluffworks patch for this? I'm not sure if i'd need a patch for EWO or EWR so im commenting on both mods. Thank you!

Hi, I might be doing something wrong, I dunno, but when I try to install the main file, it only lets me install the core file + patches for DWC or Moonlight Tales, it stays in "step 1" then the only option with MO2 is "Install", there's no next to select colors or anything.

Nvm, I'm dumb and got confused by files with similar names. Downloading main file again and will check if it properly works ^^

Yeah sounds like you downloaded my little optional file, which is for users of Elegant Werewolf Overhaul (not my mod) AND don't care what color the player werewolf is/find my option acceptable.

Edit: Actually, sounds like you're reporting an issue for EWO and not my mod at all.

Yeah, I got confused cuz there's a file that had a similar name haha. I fixed it now and it works properly. Sorry for the trouble and thank you anyway for replying! I endorsed the mod, I love the textures :3

How would I go about setting it up so that I can have the custom skin from your replacer (black primary, jet black secondary, dark silver third with blue eyes)
Except everyone else would have the DWC Elegant Overhaul skins?

If the requirement would be to simply change what default textures are in the optional file, how would I go about doing this?

I would ask the author of Elegant Werewolf Overhaul and see because I am not entirely sure how it's built and if it uses the default skin at all. But it's possible that non-special werewolves will use your skin choice? I know DWC uses it's own skins for NPC werewolves like Farkas and Aela.

It does, in fact, use your base timber as the default file. I'm basically trying to replace "If you don't like Rock Timber + Yellow eyes, download the main file or replace the smaller file's base textures with some from EWO." with specific files from your fomod instead, basically an all black wolf with cyan eyes.

Hello! I wanted to ask if you can lend me a hand in getting your mod Elegant Werewolf replacer to work along side Moonlight tales mini and diverse werewolf collection in terms of making it so that I am the only elegant werewolf and every other werebeast npc simply utilizes the textures from DWC. I would really appreciate it if possible. I've tried absolutely everything , at somepoint I tried to just use Elegant werewolf overhaul and just let it replace all the werewolves in the game and use your replace mod that just has the necessary textures and etcetera for the overhaul mod to work accordingly and it works well but at the cost of every werewolf utilizing the timber werewolf and yellow eyes skin since they are the only texures inside the EW replacer for the overhaul mod. I've even tried the fomod so your main EWR mod and simply selected the option to have it seperate my characters wolf meshes and etc from the stand alone games version so that I can be the only EW but instead what happens is the other werewolves would have the body i made via the fomod , and i would just have the body from DWC , I've even disabled the skin system from MTM but I would just get the normal werewolf body ,my intent is to get it to work with me being the only elegant werewolf in skyrim and everyone else just using the default bodies, then if i want to change the skin colors I can either replace them manually or do it via the fomod option list, thank you in advanced! Really love this werewolf body immensely as it reminds me alot of the werewolf style from the 2004 Van Helsing Movie, definitely endorsed! Just as a heads up as well I don't use any other werewolf mods other than MTM and DWC and then your EWR , I also use growl but growl doesn't change any textures if I'm not mistaken.

My mod by itself (with the standalone ESP in the FOMOD) can do what you ask, but I don't think you can do so with the Elegant Werewolf Overhaul. You'd have to dig into the files and change it about, and even then it might break something? I'd suggest asking the author of Elegant Werewolf Overhaul as they know how their mod is structured and how you can edit it without breaking it.

Alright, no else has posted this issue so it's not a bug and it's just me messing up somewhere, my wolf bois' heads aren't there at all. What simple thing am I missing that everyone else understood but I didn't?

Where in this order is my mod? Unless you mean 'this bad boi' is my mod. If that's the case, try putting mine before all these other Elegant Werewolf mods.
As for Requiem, it might? I honestly have no idea but I know that mod does touch up on werewolves. I also don't run Bestial Blood and Werewolf Perks so I don't know anything about that either.

I somehow missed the Elegant Werewolf Overhaul in my testing, It isn't your mod causing it. I'm going to have to bring this up with CinnaMew instead, thanks for the prompt replies though, you're really on it!

This mod looks really good! but i have one little problem. Every werewolf(these ones from The Companions guild) looks like mine and its kinda wierd. Is it any way to fix that small problem?

It's not a problem/bug, that's how base game werewolves work. There's only one model/texture by default unless you use mods to give the companions unique versions.
