Just a heads up, I've added ESL flagged versions of all the files. I do NOT know when a mod is safe to flag as esl vs not, but i know people will always keep asking for esl these days, so it's there if you want to try it. ~dan
Probably not because it recognizes the backpacks by "keywords" from Campfire and WaC... But it'd be an EASY patch if you know how to use sseedit or ck. ~dan
Which are mods you really should have, I would argue that they are a necessity since sooo many mods require address library. I would be surprised if you don't have both those in your load order already.
216 mods in ny load order, all with no spid or address library. I keep my game light (relatively) on scripts, and avoid mods that require additional frameworks (Yes i do use skse). Hundreds of hours without a crash or freeze. I'm not bashing those things, just saying that this experiment of mine, which i built just this year, has resulted in a more stable Skyrim than I ever thought possible, and i suspect it's not a coincidence, as I've always used those things in past builds, and never could go hundreds of hours crash free

I don't mean to criticize your mod here, its well made. I'm just offering an alternative. I have 1600 mods and I don't run into crashes, it largely depends on your hardware. Also, its cleaner to look at if you upload your load order to mod watch for future reference.

@tcbflash I'm sure you've figured it out already, but in case if not: the spoiler code did not work for you here above because it requires the spoiler start and end commands to be in square brackets, not in <>. Also the slash in the spoiler end command should be a forward slash (/), not backward (\). Someone told me that as long as no other mods depend on this mod, then yes you can. I don't know personally, but if what they told me was true, then it would be safe. Are you planning on trying it? Or were you asking me to create the esl flagged version? I can if needed, or if you do, please report back if it works. ~dan
I was going to do it, but since you did, it saves me the trouble, so thanks. Though, to be quite honest, the fact that you don't know if marking it as esl will cause problems isn't confidence inspiring (no offense).
Looking at the mod in Xedit, I also noticed that the effect only seems to apply if the follower is wearing any Campfire backpack or ONLY the large backpack from Wet and Cold. Is there a reason you chose not to include the small/medium/heavy backpacks? I can add conditions for those myself, but they will all give the follower the same carry weight bonus, which isn't ideal.
I'd duplicate the magic effect and create separate entries for each item, but I don't know how.
Right, yeah basically i made this for my own use, and i always give my follower a large backpack (why waste time with a small one if only one can be worn right?), so i didn't take time to make separate effects for all the smaller sizes, since it would be wasted energy... Then i ended up deciding to share on here, so it's basically, you get what i got, not perfect or exhaustive, but, I'd argue still an improvement vs not having it, and best of all, it's free! :-) That's pretty much how all my mods come about, they're just tweaks i made on my own game and then end up deciding to share in case anyone else would benefit from it.
Simply add the Light Foot perk to any NPC (with this mod installed) and it should work! ~dan
(Can probably console command it, but then you'd have to do it again on a new playthrough, but if you know how to use SSEEDIT you can patch it permanently. If you have SSEEDIT but don't know what to do, let me know and I'll walk you through it)
It does not?? :,( Been giving followers backpacks like crazy on Nintendo Switch(unmodded) cause I thought it gave them a pack boost. It was placebo all along! xD
