Changelogs
Clearpine Village

Clearpine Village is a complete village built from the ground up in Haafingar Hold.

Included are 23 new NPC's, in addition to guards and animals. They all work together to form an independent functional society. They are citizens, shopkeepers, workers, followers, beggars, trainers, and children.

Amenities include an inn, blacksmith, alchemy and spell vendors, a player home (obtainable through a quest), and a restaurant. There are alchemy labs, enchanting tables, anvils and forges, workbenches and grinding wheels, as well as a staff enchanter. Also added are some food, drink, and miscellaneous items.

All the townspeople have a set schedule and specific duties they perform. They can be found working around town, visiting shops, or just relaxing by a fire.

Notes (and things to consider)

This mod will appear rather high in the plugin load order. I suggest using LOOT or equivelent to sort them.

Though this mod is safe to install mid playthrough, I do not recommend uninstalling this or any other mod mid playthrough.
As with most mods, it is best used with a new game.

No vanilla assets were modified or removed (other than the changes to the exterior cells).

All NPC's in this mod have a friendly relationship with the player therefor will not become hostile towards the player.
They are marked as 'Essential', which means they cannot be killed. I do not recommend attempting it.

A quest is required to be completed in order to access Clearpine Cabin. See the end of the README document for details.
(SPOILER)

Safe storage containers include the Fish Barrel next to the pond and the Food Barrel next to Robin's tent.
All the containers in Clearpine Cabin are also safe storage.
NPC's in this mod use the default body types for both male and female characters.

Known Issues

Occasionally some of the merchants will ask the player to leave, even during normal business hours.
This can usually be fixed speaking with them, or by exiting and re-entering the building.

The back cover of the 'History of Clearpine' books does not display properly.
This is due to a flaw in the texture file that I can't seem to pinpoint.

Fast traveling to the village will sometimes cause shops to not keep their door lock schedule.
This is not an issue with this mod, but due to the nature of the game.

Misty Moon speaks no audible dialogue when greeting player upon sitting down.
This is because her voice type does not meet the criteria to allow her to do so.

The ore mine in the pond is there only because it is a 'persistent' reference.
This means it is 'baked' into the game permanently and cannot be moved or deleted.

Some of the merchants may sell things that might not be in their category.
This is because of the leveled items they have on their person.

When fast traveling to Volskygge, the player will arrive face to face with Wysteria's market stall. Not an issue, but inconvenient. This is again because it is a 'persistent' reference.
If any issues are found, please post them in the 'comments' section so they can be addressed.

Known Incompatibilites

UPDATED: [As of version 2.5.1] Patched to be compatible with Interesting NPC's.

CONFIRMED
: [As of Version 2.4.0] Interesting NPC's adds a building that will become inaccessible due to the placement of the Bistro. I will acknowledge this and either make some changes or create a patch.

Any mods that occupy or change the same worldspace will potentially cause issues.

This mod adds food and drinks to certain leveled lists.
Mods affecting the same lists may require a patch; otherwise the later mod in load order will overrule.
If any incompatibilities are found, please post them in the 'comments' section so they can be addressed.

Changelog

2.4.0  =  Initial public release

2.5.0 = Updated location of Bistro.
Modified AI packages accordingly.
Added more flora to certain areas of the village.

2.5.1 = Patched to be compatible with Interesting NPC's.

About me and this mod

Inspiriation for creating this mod came from the Creation Kit and the ability to do so. I am a long time Skyrim
modder and longer time player. I am married with a full-time job, 4 children, and a grandchild. Naturally I do
not have a great deal of time to work on things such as modding Skyrim (as much as I enjoy it).

This mod was not created by a team of programmers, but by one individual (myself) with help and feedback
from my spouse. Though I did use templates for the interior buildings, everything within was placed by me.
Even the custom recorded dialogue was done by my spouse and I. It took me over two years from the starting
point until the initial release, learning additional software and programming as it became necessary.
