This mod edits the PlayerVampireQuestScript to restore the mechanic which allowed NPCs to fear and hate the player if they entered into the stage 4 of vampirism, as it used to happen before the Dawnguard DLC release.
This is a very simple mod. I merely edited the relevant lines of the USSEP source code and recompiled it. I am still learning Papyrus so I used an old version of Scion - A Vampire Overhaul—which included this feature until Scion 2—as a reference. The new script is almost the same as the USSEP one, it just circumvents the Dawnguard condition (i.e. "player is hated when in stage 4 and Dawnguard DLC is not installed"). I edited the USSEP source instead of the vanilla one to keep the fixes, but the USSEP itself is not necessary. There is an alternative version of the file which is compatible with the current Scion update. Requirements
None.
Instructions
There is no plugin, this mod is a loose script file. This means that it will not be compatible with any vampire overhauls which also happen to edit the PlayerVampireQuestScript. To be sure of compatiblity, check for conflicts in the mod filetree through MO2 or Vortex. If another mod other than Scion touches the same script, it is likely not compatible. If you are using Scion, install only the Scion version and make sure it overwrites.
