I'm having major issues with my old CK build and can't update fixes, etc. since I'm not on 1.6.1130+ :( Is there any chance you can update the patch for NotWL 3.0? I'm using Lite+Blubbos. Please and thank you regardless.
3.0 has brand new formIDs for new assets and even old ones IIRC from trying to sort out an updated patch just in xEdit. The patches reference non-existent forms now. It also eliminates all Landscape records, but I can't tell if anything in this patch specifically would need to be adjusted for that. edit: There might be new conflicts from potential placement changes, but I think what's broken now can be fixed by pointing them to the new formIDs. After a quick glance over, it seems like all of the editorIDs still exist. Wait, I confused myself. The reference IDs have changed, and I can't tell what still exists without comparing every broken record's position to 3.0's records.
What actually does your patch do then, or at least what don't I understand about what it does? Using it rn with 3.0 and I don't see anything out of place, no trees poking out of buildings. No missing assets. Unless there are just trees that should be there that I am entirely unaware of because they're not loading at all?
Unsure what the main version looks like, but a lot a lot of them did carry over to 3.0. IIRC it was like 15 references in the Lite version that had errors, but they could've mostly just been the ones meant to thin out the area. I think there was one or two in the house across the river though.
I haven't tested it. I don't know if the file path for the meshes in the bsa is different or not. You could try it and let me know if it works, if it does I'll update the mod page description. If it doesn't I'll try to make a patch for it ASAP 😁
So... I tested this patch with latest version Nature of the Wild Lands v2.4 It's work only for trees. But doesn't work for clipping grass & bushes Could you make same patch for v2.4 please?
Grass is a little more difficult since that requires changing landscape flags I believe, but I can definitely go in and do one specifically for 2.4 for the Trees and Shrubs and such. 😁 I avoid a lot of grass clipping in the area with "Cathedral - Rocky Shores". It adds low poly rocks as a grass type instead of actual grass for river edges and shorelines.
+1 ... Hi ShadowPandah. I appreciate your efforts in making these two mods work together. I was wondering if you've had a chance yet to create the patch re: trees & shrubs clipping for NOTW V2.4 now that it's been a couple of months?
Hey, so firstly I'd like to apologize for my very delayed response, I got really ill with respiratory issues for a good month and a half, followed by COVID right as I started to finally recover; I was down and out for a few months.
I explored this a bit with the new version of NotW with this patch on, and I don't really have any trees or bushes clipping anywhere, there's one or two spots where grass just BARELY peeks through some boards but all in all that can be written off as grass growing between the cracks of the boards. The major thing (the trees clipping through buildings) are properly removed. It may have to do with the grass or tree or any flora mod you're using.
Reguardless, I can confirm what this patch intends to fix, is indeed fixed in BOTH versions of NotWL. 😀
I did find a couple places where grass clips badly, my mistake before. I might make a patch for this or see if one can be made by someone else, if I do I'll let you know. That would be totally separate from this patch since that doesn't involve NotWL, and would basically just be a patch needed for the landscapes under T'Skyrim - Riverwood objects (and maybe some JK's?) for most grass mods.
Hey Halffaces and a Isilme830, See my new mod here to accomplish fixing the rest of T'Skyrim Riverwood's landscape and grass issues (among other grass issues), be sure to read the full description!
ShadowPandah, you are a wonder! Not only did the grass fix you created make a huge difference, but now that I've seen both of your mods in game, I just have to thank you. I grew up in a community built around a river, much larger than Riverwood, but still very similar. I have missed the community so greatly in my later years, but I feel closer to it somehow with combining NOTWL & T'Skyrim Riverwood together. In the game, I like walking through the wooded areas around Riverwood and swimming in the river. With your help, it is now, by far, my very favorite place in Skyrim and a sweet glimpse into memories for me. Words are not enough to thank you for helping to turn this town into such a beautiful area!!!!
Here you go 😎 I made sure it's also compatible with at least the Lite Trees version of this NotWL patch, it may or may not be compatible with the normal trees version of this NotWL patch but I haven't tested it. Anyway here's the link. 😀

EDIT: It apparently does need an update for 3.0 so I'll make that here soon

Would you mind to patch an other tree mod: Blubbos Riverwood 2023?
Thanks!
Tks!
