I would really love to use the base bronze Haruspex armor on some of my ladies, but when I hand it to them, it immediately starts melting (looks OK initially, then starts stretching/sliding downwards through the floor).  Anyone have hints on how to fix?

My LO has the base Ferrum Nibenis overwritten by both of this mod's battlemage clothing and HDT-SMP, the HDT-SMP patch loading before both the Battlemage Clothing and CBBE footwear patches.  I also have the 3BA conversion by Skelvald installed.  Is there a different 3BA conversion available?

Hmm the "melting" is an error in your HDT SKSE files, try checking them out. Update them, etc.

Thanks for your answer!  The settings in the Documents\SKSE folder, or in the Data\SKSE folder, or elsewhere?  I haven't really dug into FSMP, and running v 2.10, the newest crashed on my 1.6.640 setup.  I am running the MCM by DaydreamingDay ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/104462 ).  I forgot - am also running CBPC for belly physics, might that be causing a problem?

Any insights as to which setting(s) I need to check?  My other HDT stuff works, more or less, w/occasional crashes.

this happens because you run 3ba conversion and Xtudo at the same time looks like they are incompatible, maybe because both adds hdt-smp. try disabling Xtudo and check again if its fixed or other way around delete the meshes from your overwrite folder that Skelvald's mods generated and try without the 3ba conversion. Personally I disabled the Xtudo patch and it fixed the problem

Still fighting this problem, tried lemialt's suggestion to disable the Xtudo non-hdt patch, keep Skevald's.  Still melted.  Uninstalled Skevald's 3BA conversion, enabled Xtudo's 2.1 HDT-SMP, but can't find any bodyslides listed to build the outfits.  Any suggestions on how to find/fix this?

Try installing my Ferrum Nibenis - My Patches SE by Xtudo - HDT-SMP file and then any other version that you want to use, 3BA, etc.
My patches are fully compatible with the 3BA mod, or any similar one, just install them AFTER my patches.
Also update/reinstall everything related to the HDT-SMP mod.

Wondering if anyone could give me some advice?

I'm still new to modding, but I'm trying my best to understand it.

I don't want the SMP stuff, so I installed the NON-SMP patch as a seperate mod, but it gave me a lightning bolt symbol in MO2, meaning there was a file conflict, but the base mod was winning the conflict?
So instead, I merged it in.

Was this right? Or should I have left it as a seperate mod? I'm unsure how patches work when the install instructions aren't specified in the download area, and thusfar, I've just been trial and erroring and hoping all my stuff works. xD

Hi! And welcome to modding, you're going to love it!
I don't use mod managers, so I can't help you too much with it. But let me see...
I know that the last file has preference, and with my patches file conflicts are expected, since they usually replace files from the original mod. So don't worry about that.
I believe there's no need to merge them, just set my patches last of all.
I hope this helps. And have fun!

Hey Xtudo! I'm still getting some large clipping on the battlemage armor for males:
    https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/489641227046748172/1297309544770437250/20241019142347_1.jpg?ex=6715752a&is=671423aa&hm=0d002593085aaf7e1c5e933e4daca0c268ec76433f31631b03b70fda78a7b73d&

I've reinstalled the hdt patch and tried non hdt but still get some pretty large clipping on this particular outfit either way. Is there anything I can do on my end to fix it?

Also is there any possibility of adding pants xD

Thanks for all the work that you do!

Do you think you could make a replacer patch for the Nibenese mage robes in Beyond Skyrim Bruma to use this battlemage set instead? Or perhaps add some of these sets to Nibenese NPCs in Bruma?

The patch seems to be somehow breaking the Mothweaver helmet, it looks like the cloth thing gets double layered or something which causes weird glitches due to collision.
No patch is fine. Patch or Patch + Himbo make it do this. Could you please fix it?

Edit: No optimized textures, Faster HDT-SMP. At first thought it could be "Skyrim is Windy" mod, but I couldn't replicate this bug without a patch.

Hi. It's the Ferrum Nibenis - My Patches SE by Xtudo - HDT-SMP file?
      Which race is your character?

Nord. Not sure if this helps in any way but I'm also using Simonrim mods and have High Poly Head. Don't think those are the problem tho since it doesn't happen with the original mod while running them.

Hi Xtudo! Can you please guide me on how to make the Mothweave armor's exposed arms show the tattoos / overlays on my character's skin? I've seen this is the case with other armors, but currently have no clue how to do so for this one. I removed the shoulder plate piece in Nifskope so I can get a fuller view of my character's armrs, it's just that the tattoo overlays don't show.

    Thanks for the patch btw!

    Greetings Xtudo,

I want to start by thanking you for taking the time to modify and improve the Ferrus Nibenis Armors; I greatly appreciate your work on this and several other armor mods, thak you! As such, I have a request for you. I am porting the mod The Serpent's Covenant to xbox, however one of the armor sets in the mod, specifically the mothweave set, requires HDT-SMP which isn't available on xbox. So, I would like to request your permission to use your non-HDT Mothweave assets to replace the HDT assets in The Serpent's Covenant. If I were to get the author of the mod,   nimwraith's consent, would you allow this? You would be fully credited and a link to your mod would be provided. Thank you for reading my message and I hope to hear back from you soon.

    Sincerely, Randomdude

Mothweave skirt is clipping badly with No-HDT version. Most likely based on animations, but I don't use anything too wild. Battlemage skirt too, but not nearly as bad.

Yes. The outfits were designed with HDT in mind, making them non-HDT clipping is expected in some poses, the more the "layers" the outfit has, the worse it is. There's nothing I can do, I actually spend hours tweaking/testing them to reduce clipping as much as I can.

Partially removing bottom layer could work but my knowledge ends at Outfit Studio, and doing it there is probably impossible.
