Alternate and Detailed Installation Guide

Step 1 - Install the Prerequisites
You’re going to want to download the required mods listed on the Nexus page.
The rest of this guide will assume you have those installed and that you know how to use them.
Step 2 - Install the Mod
Use your mod organizer of your choice. For the purposes of this mod, we’ll be using Vortex.
First, you’ll want to download the mod from the Nexus mod page.
Next, make sure that it’s enabled.
Step 3 - Install the Server
Next is installing and setting up the server.
First, you’ll want to download the server files from the mod page.
It’ll take a while to finish downloading, so make a cup of tea.

Local Whisper Installation Guide

Step 1
In the folder with the ”Run” file used to start the server, there’s a folder labeled “Tools”.
Open that folder, and inside there’s several other files. Find “enable_local_whisper”.
Run it, and a command window will open that looks like this:
Type “yes”, and you’ll be prompted to pick the model you want to use. The synopsis for each model is in the command window.
Pick which one you want to use. The command window will close. Give it about 5 to 10 minutes to complete its installation.
After waiting, run the server file, and you should see something like this:
If you do, then you can skip to Step 4.

This should work for any other language in a similar way.

IF YOU ARE NEW TO RUNNING OFFLINE AI MODELS FOR THE LOVE OF GOD READ THIS:
KoboldCPP is a program used for running offline LLM's (AI models).
However it does not include any offline LLM's so we will have to download one separately.
Running KoboldCPP and other offline AI services uses up a LOT of computer resources.
We only recommend people to use this feature if they have a powerful GPU or a 2nd computer to offload the resources too.
Ideally you want a NVIDA GPU for the best performance.
You will most likely have to spend some time testing different models and performance settings to get the best result with your machine. This is still "experimental" technology.

You will need to first create an Google Cloud account. YOU WILL NEED A CREDIT CARD! https://console.cloud.google.com
You will need to enable the Text-to-Speech API for your project. You can do this by navigating to the API Library in the Cloud Console and searching for "Text-to-Speech". Then, click on "Enable" to activate the API.
Now you will need to create a service account key:
Go to the "Service Accounts" page in the Cloud Console.Click on "Create Service Account".
Provide a name for the service account and select the appropriate role (e.g., "Text-to-Speech Administrator" or "Owner").
