Was going through all my tracked mods and came across this, looks like I must have tracked it a couple years ago and then chickened out at the time. Anyways I just downloaded it with my phone and plan on checking this out later when I get home, so just wanted to drop in and say thank you for your work, looks good from the description, and I look forward to combing through this, not only to patch things up for my game, but also because I always learn something from going through the records of a mod like this, might give me ideas for additional things to do myself as well, so I appreciate you very much and I will be back to endorse! ~dan (tcbflash)
TIP: Always check the plugin in SSEEdit. Otherwise you won't be able to see the conflicts.
With that said, I have been using it alongside Madmen (plus Wormpie's Hagravens - load that before Madmen but after this) without problem. They have conflicts, just let Madmen overwrite (that mod handles hagravens way better imo).
I also use Valravn as a base and then Better Vampire NPCs, Dawnguard Arsenal, Zim's Dremora Improvements, Lawless and Haugbui. Trow this one too and you basically covered all enemies factions. Plus Combat IA (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/65698?tab=files) since it handles IA directly without messing with combat styles so is compatible with almost everything.
I even use Open World Loot, Arena and a bunch of stuff (just make sure everything is patched... and run Wrye Bash)
Noob question, I want to use Madmen, Lawless, Hokoron, and Better Vampire NPCs and Arena. Would this require Wrye Bash? I don't care if some enemies don't show up. I just don't want CTDs. Lol. I have no knowledge of how to use Xedit either. I just wanna play the game
There should be minimal to virtually no conflicts, as each mod is touching is owns things. For example Dawnguard arsenal do intersect in some aspects with Better Vampire NPCs but nothing really groundbreaking and it won't lead to a crash
That being said, you most definitely need a bashed patch - only for leveled list, uncheck everything else. It's super easy to do in Wrye Bash
so load hokoron < better vampires npcs < madmen < lawless < arena and in the end the bashed patch
