This mod is included in Simple Immersive Civil War Soldiers.
DESCRIPTION:
Something that has always bugged me is the fact that Bethesda took the time to make a unique Imperial horse saddle, but then only use it one time during the intro for General Tullius' horse. What about all those Imperial owned horses in forts and camps? Why don't they use it? Thus this mod was born.
This mod makes the following horses use Imperial saddles instead of the standard fur saddle:
-Horses in Imperial camps.
-Horses in Imperial controlled forts.
-The saddled horse you can buy at Katla's farm.
-The horse that the noble from the random encounter uses.
Also adjusts the position of a few horses and adds a saddle to the horse at Fort Neugrad that didn't have one.
INSTALLATION:
Install with MO2 or Vortex.
COMPATIBILITY:
USSEP changes have been carried over but it's not required. This mod mostly accomplishes its features through base object swapping so compatibility problems shouldn't be an issue. Proper Bash Tags are included so if you use a Bashed Patch you should be fine.
LOAD ORDER:
Shouldn't really matter, but should probably be loaded late.
Plugin is ESL flagged and won't take up a slot in your load order.
Note: Due to the way this mod works, Imperial horses in forts on an existing game may not update and use the new saddles. The only way to fix this would be to disable the old horse and spawn in one of my new ones with the console. If you do need to do this, the forms of the horses with Imperial saddles are easy to find in the ESP in SSEEdit.
