For me it shows correctly in the right side of the inventory but when equipped it reverts back to the original model. The mod also conflicts in some weird way with ElSopa's HD Shield Part I.
EDIT: I downloaded the "all 1k" file and it worked. It applied correctly on the character. Might want to take a look at the "2k-1k" variant because that is causing the issue.
If you're playing with Auri, this mod does have the side effect of putting her in a puffy quilted coat. Which is...an interesting look for the Bosmer. I deleted the "f" meshes from this mod and still seems to work ok for males in hide armor.
Have you considered doing standalones like this for the Vanilla Armor Replacer models/weapons? Some of the leather and hide armors from that, while inferior to the Realistic Armor models, are nice enough to warrant a scattering through the level list. You also said you dont like realism for fantasy armor, and I agree, I enjoy having the dunmer Style Ebony and Nordic Style Steel Plate in game, but its true that there are in lore (such as from Morrowind and Oblivion) more realistic medieval styles of these armors, so SPID distributing the Steel Plate and Ebony Knight armors from that mod for a bit of variety might be nice. Having it be modular and SPIDified would also make it super variable. I dont really know much about SPID or modding, but from what I have seen its not too hard, Id be happy to SPID the armors if you made them into standalone mods (which I havent the faintest clue how to do)
Would you mind looking into some of the armors from Simply Realistic Armor and Weapons? They have some unique replacements for Dragonbone, Dragonscale, Stalhrim, Glass and Ebony armors for instance that are not found in any of the NordwarUA mods. I would love for those to be standalone versions with just the armor and weapons for one gear type.
FYI, This would probably require some permissions from the end of the mod author(s), though I am not 100% sure.
Thank you =) Iron and Steel please to use them on top of vanilla armor replacer ( when I rebuild my skyrim I always have some problems when mix the realistic armors and vanilla armor replacer waccf and on and on)
