Just uploaded a video showing everyone how I create these hairs. Hope it helps anyone wishing to make their own! To watch the video click the video tab above :)
UPDATE 6/21/17 - Update 2.4 is up! Choosing manual option now has 2 steps. Step 1 will be only duplicated hair's. So all hairs that have more than one option will be on this step. To make it easier and less likely to accidentally choose more than 1. As you can only have one of each multiple/duplicated hair's. Step 2 has all the other options that do not have more than one choice. This will be the last KS Female hair update I do for a while. The next will be colored males and I am not sure when I will do that. This update burned me out xD Much love and I hope you like the update! ~Meka
P.S. I'm aware the file size of 2.4 is on the large side. I can do nothing else to shrink it. I compressed the .dds texture files and the image files and can do no more. Keep in mind that there are 348 hair textures in the installer as well as the 300+ screenshots of each hair for the installer too. So its pretty hefty xD
I am not taking any requests atm. Sorry guys!
Please post all requests in the forums section above under the sticky post there. Thank you! :) And for those who may not have read the description (yea you, I'm talking to you! lol) links for mod's used in the screenshots is at the bottom of the description. xD Much love!
3/17 - Thank all of you so much for getting this mod to Hot Files! Best early birthday gift (my birthday is March 22nd) :p It means so much to me and I'm glad you all like the colors as much as I love creating them! Much love and so much appreciation! <3 Meka
I am no longer updating or working on this mod for the time being. Sorry guys, just too much going on IRL. I hope someday to be able to at least find time to update and give yall the hairs I have completed from the last KS update.
Realized I never stopped by to say thank you for this mod and the video tutorial. It's what really got me interested in learning how to work with textures myself.
Would love a version where these hairs come up as additional hairs rather than replacers (wouldn't need to be standalone, could still require models from original mod)
I got a installation problem with the females hairs 2.4 and the male ombre and monochrome v1.8. The males hairs v1.6, works withourh problems on NMM's installation, the other two give me the error "A problem occured during install"
Well Vortex is worse as hell to me, confirm EVERY action, then the shitty system with "associations" to EVERY mods... I tried it one time and switched back to NMM. Never tried MO2. I will try it but only if is possible to port my mods on it without have to do EVERY installation again.
I use Vortex and have 600 mods installed. Literally zero errors or mod issues. If you don't like confirming each step (which is there to prevent mistakes), you can have mods auto-install and auto-enable and save the mouse clicks. If you are getting those errors, then something else is up.
One is in regards to the "innocent fire" hair. it's broken, but NMM does not recognize this. Vortex DOES, which is why an error will pop up, but it's only a warning and the mod otherwise works fine.
NMM won't recognize about half of errors, glitches and mod errors that occur from SSE updates of the past 4 years or so. So just a fair and genuine warning: Sticking with NMM produces literally thousands of glitches with mods, but never tells you. You may not see them in game either, but armors, weapons, hairs, eye textures, etc. simply won't function. So you think a mod is working, but it's not
I disagree. Use the community version of NMM. Its working great. As we anything else, you have to know how it works and how to use it. Compared to NMM the newer installers are crazy stupid to work with. https://github.com/Nexus-Mods/Nexus-Mod-Manager/releases
If millions of people can use them just fine, and they're recommended 9/10 times anyone is asked about modding aside from wabbajack, the issue is not the program itself.
Some people equate changes or upgrades to naturally being somehow "worse".
These days MO2 and Vortex are virtually the same thing and accomplish the same task. Just with a different interface. NMM is kept alive by people who love it, and kudo's to them for doing so, but it just can't keep up.
Mods and mod authors are creating mods on a daily basis that simply do not work properly with any version of NMM and trying to force a circle into a square hole leads to things like mods not working as expected.

with textures myself.
How I can install it manually?
Manual install of this mod is possible but will take you a very VERY long time and a single record in the wrong place will break your game
Anyway thanks for the reply.
