I added them because Karthwasten is inhabited by Bretons who seem to be sympathetic to, if not outright supportive of, the Forsworn. So it makes sense that they share some similar building styles and cultural influences. Also I think they look nice and I couldn't think of anything else to add lol.
Well regardless of if they actually support the Forsworn, or simply agree with their ideals of not living under Nord rule, I still feel that the culture of the Reachmen applies. I don't plan on removing the hides or deer skulls, unless enough people really have a problem with it, but then the town would basically be empty of any of my changes.
The Forsworn are Reachmen rebels involved in an uprising against Nord authority. Not all clans of Reachmen are involved in the uprising. The people of Karthwasten are either a clan that wants nothing to do with the uprising or they are decedents of Reachmen that want nothing to do with the uprising. I kind of think of the inhabitants of Karthasten are at least partially assimilated into Nordic/Imperial culture. It kind of reminds me of the real life situation where Vikings and Christians began living together in communities. Many of these vikings were Christians that saw Christ as a supplement to the Norse pantheon.
Just noting that Karthwasten - Let the Silver Flow does not have the tree shown in screenshot #5, so if using together with this mod the cluster of animal skulls float and the stretched leather surrounds nothing. Quickly resolved in xEdit.
Honestly, I haven't really decided. On my list of places to do, I have six more: Shor's Stone, Kynesgrove, Darkwater Crossing, Nightgate Inn, Stonehills, and Old Hroldan. I feel like I might cut out Darkwater Crossing, Nightgate Inn, and Stonehills though, because they are so small and I just don't really have any ideas on what to add there. It just kinda depends I guess. How many would you like to see me add? Any specific locations, or ideas that you think would be cool? I'm down to add all of them if that is what people want, I just don't think they would be very interesting.
I'm definitely keeping an eye out for Shor's Stone! Nightgate Inn would be a welcome addition as well just because I don't think there are many mods touching that location currently
There will almost certainly be objects clipping through each other if you use both mods. You can simply disable the clipping pieces from this mod using the console, but I'm not sure if it would be worth the effort.
How does one go about doing so? Because I would love to use both (I use LTSF because I wanted something that looks like its an actual silver town, ya know?
You open up the console with ` (its called Tilde, it is right below the escape key), then you click on the object you want to remove, and type "disable" (without the quotation marks) and press enter. I recommend More Informative Console to make what you are clicking on easier to see.

All those people live in Karthwasten and don't like or have had problems with the Forsworn. A quick Ctrl+F and you'll find what I mean.
