    if we use this with ulvenwald, wouldnt loading ulvenwald after this like you say completely replace all notwl trees? i thought we would would have to load this after ulvenwald so we would have notwl trees as replacers as well as the additional tree placements that ulvenwald has

      Not quite, but the short answer is that you could use them either way. NotWL replaces more than Ulvenwald does (debris, shrubs, sapplings, ancient trees, unique trees like the Gildergreen, etc.). Additionally, Ulvenwald uses many of the same models as NotWL for certain biomes, and BOTH mods place new trees. And since both mods are implemented the same way, they will overwrite each other, where they call identical plugin record locations (just models and textures here).

      This means that placing the NotWL plugin after Ulvenwald will overwrite (probably everything) from Ulvenwald, except for location record edits. Whereas, placing NotWL before Ulvenwald will still let you have NotWL debris and unique trees but with Ulvenwald's more diverse forest trees overwriting those from NotWL. What my mod can do on top of that combo is remove the extra trees and landscape edits leftover from NotWL. Without this edit or a similar one (like NotWL Debris Only), using both mods together would probably result in in a patching nightmare, plus way more trees than either author intended or any PC could handle.

      TLDR; Using all three together:

      - Recommended Plugin Load Order
      (NotWL.esp + *NotWL-VanillaReplacer* -> Ulvenwald.esp) = NotWL Debris/Uniques + Ulvenwald forests + Ulvenwald Patches Needed

      - Also Recommended for better FPS in some outdoor areas
      (NotWL.esp + *NotWL-VanillaReplacer* -> UlvenwaldLite.esp) = NotWL Debris/Uniques + Ulvenwald forests

      - Not Recommended
      (Ulvenwald.esp -> NotWL.esp + *NotWL-VanillaReplacer*) = NotWL Debris/Uniques/Forests + Ulvenwald Patches Needed

    Is this mod compatible with Seasons of Skyrim (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/62861) and Turn of the Seasons (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/63623) if used with Happy Little Trees? I dont care about 3D LOD's. :)

      +1 Would LOVE to use this with Seasons of Skyrim/Seasonal Landscapes. Having trouble getting them to work.

      Though, I don't personally use Seasons... This mod should not interfere with Seasons of Skyrim.

      @HalfbitShirlock I mean is this mod compatible with the Turn of the Seasons?

      Imagine the debris flora and trees changing textures as the seasons change. I read in the original Turn of the Seasons mod page that Nature of the Wildlands is now seasons compatible so your mod would help a lot in the performance of my humble pc

    Hello.

    May I ask you to bring more precisions to the moron of me, regarding to my english and modding skills ? If a want to mix your interesting mod with Happy Little Trees and load it AFTER this one, will I have both the trees and the debris of NOTWL ?
    And what about the result if I load if before HLT ?

    I feel sorry for the noob questions.
    Thank you.

      If you load NotWL + this mod before HLT, you will get HLT trees replacing NotWL tree models. This would give you more vanilla-like trees and better FPS, but you will not see as many NotWL tree models.

    Might be a dumb question, but if we use Ulvenwald together, should we use the lite version of it? Since the full version introduces all the landscape edit etc back?

      It depends on the patch/plugin dependecies and related  flora models/textures. If the Ulvenwald plugin you have requires the Nature of the Wild Lands plugin, it likely alro requires the landcape edits made by NotWL. This mod edits NotWL into just a vanila tree and debris model/texture replacer, no other edits. So if the flora replacer you want to use has objects that you prefer over NotWL versions (basically just trees, tree debris, and shrub mods), and it overwrites NotWL files in your mod organizer, then you should load NotWL's plugin, followed by my plugin, followed by any other flora mods that overwrite NotWL flora models.

    Great mod! Really enjoy these trees and clutter without the massive performance drop of the full NOTWL.

    PS: I don't know for it is your mod or maybe the original; but, TreePineForestStump02A and ...Stump02B is vanilla models and textures.

    And TreePineForestHollow01 is vanilla.

    Again great job on this!!!

      Everything appaers fine on my end (NotWL debris for those particular objects). Do you use any other mods that might touch them specifically?

      I had no other mods that touched them but thanks for the help. At least now I know it is on my end!

    Bro I went from over 10000 draw calls to under 4000. In the part just before Riverwood I was getting low 30's to high 20's in fps on a RX 5600 XT and a i7 4790 16 GB to hitting the frame cap of 60, Would recommend.

      Thank you, I originally made the mod so that Nature of the Wild Lands could be run on my friend's laptop. They still needed DLSS, but this edit improved performance enough to let the game have a smooth fps while still keeping the incredible new models from NotWL.

    Hey SprkLs, would you allow your permission for Nature of the Wild Lands - Vanilla Replacers Only to be ported to Bethesda.net for console users?  Would really appreciate it if so!  Credit would be given to you, of course.

    Thanks!

    Hello, thanks for making this. So this mod retains all the debris and fallen trees that the "forest debris only mod" (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/71607) has?

    With this, I was finally able to visit Falkreath without my fps dipping into the 20's on my RTX 3080

      The real move is to download a mod that disables all VANILLLA trees and keep the tress from NotWL.

      For real though! 1080 ti here with a load order of NOTWL, Ulvenwald, Happy Little Trees (was 3DT before lol, too heavy!) and Aspen's Ablaze with Trees Addon, Bent Pines 2, Reach Tree Replacer and some Fantasy Forest loose files, and some Vurt custom pines. Maxed @ 1440p 40-60 fps..running great! 😉😄
