out of nowhere my character stopped talking. when i pick a dialogue, it automatically switches to the npc talking with no room for my character to talk or answer.
edit: I HAVE FOUND THE SOLUTION EVERYONE !!!!!!! thing is, hud mods are clapping this mod cheeks like no tommorow and that is craaazy and whoever made mod manager deserves a huge sloppy toppy. HAHAHA
after looking at few comments where people talked about huds i took matters into my own hands
in mod manager: Plugins, Archives, DATA, Saves, Downloads {I clicked on data} Interface - dialoguemenu.sfw
I have found out that 4 mods were fighting each other like wild hyenas for this file {Edge UI, Untarnished UI, Dear Diary Dark Mode aaaand Dragonborn Voice Over}. After opening each mod folder {NOT Dragonborn voice over} and going into their Interface folder i have found that same dialoguemenu.sfw which i deleted. NOW know this, if you have mod that changes fonts for dialogues and such, say goodbye to that or if you are smart fella and not fart smella like me, you can edit it idk how.
I don't know why but it just never works for me :'( I have all the requirements... and I'm playing on 1.5.97. I have the audio pack, I select it in MCM, but my character remains the same as Claude Speed.
Don't know what I am doing wrong but somehow my character is not able to speak. Using Vampire preset, Untarnished Patch installed, still no audio lines. After activating dialogue option it takes longer time than usual besides that no effect in game so far. Maybe mistake is on my end, can someone help? Really love the idea of this mod, been waiting such a long time for this ...
I assume it has to do with some chracter overhaul mods, otherwise I would not understand how it could conflict in any way Maybe HDT Hair or Teeth/Skin Mods perhaps?
It does, but it seems to have problems with the UI mods, the patches dont work at least not on their own, apparently on 1.6.117 the texts are squished of many UI mods, I use Untarnished and the unsquished fix for DBVO seems to have fixed the issue.
This mod seems awesome :o I just have a little issue. I'm not very knowledgeable about mods so I'm pretty sure I'm doing something wrong. I did install the requirements and a voice pack, but there was simply no sound. It still takes the time it would take to pronounce what my character is saying, but it doesn't actually say anything. Is there anything I did wrong?
This happened to me a couple Skyrim versions ago. I forget which version I was playing on but I used an earlier version of this mod that hadn't included lip sync yet and that worked fine. My character could speak, just not move their mouth. When I tried updating the mod that included lip syncs no voice would play. You could try downloading an earlier version if you don't mind not having lip syncs and see if it works.
What version are you using? Im using 1.6117 and Untarnished UI, I found that the DBVO Untarnished UI patch doesnt work unless you add the unsquished fix https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/112659, maybe verify what UI mod are you using and maybe theres a fix for that too.
for those people that have untarnished ui bug that squishes subtitle and dialogue ui, try this https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/112659

I'd love to try this mod, but every time I install it my game refuses to even load. I don't get any error warnings, nothing to let me know why the mod is not functioning properly. I have even tried installing it on a clean install with all its dependencies, and the game still refuses to load.
Ok, I finally got it installed. But it's still not working. I had to update SKSE. I installed https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/99421?tab=description and all its dependencies, and there is no voice-over.
hey i am having trouble so when i have the mod all requirements and the voice pack installed and selected but when i go to select the dialog option it instantly crashes does anyone have any idea how to fix this for ify i have the lumine voice pack

Any way to make this work with Nolvus Launcher? I'm worried that Nolvus includes too many incompatible mods, most notably the UI and hair mods.
