Wow, thank you all for over 10,000 Downloads! I'm happy to see this being well received!
If you are interested in using these animations on only female characters I recommend my overhaul of female sitting animations which includes these transitions for only female characters. Keep in mind it has a list of requirements *You can now find the mod here on nexus! https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/85599
Requires DAR or similar, XP32 Skeleton, Base Object Swapper and MujointFix/racemenuhh to get most accurate positioning

I've noticed a few videos incorrectly show chair and barstool transitions as if they are part of my mod. This mod only covers animations on tables with benches
The description only mentions the "required" mod in "check out my other mods".
So what does that mean? You're abusing the requirements system to effectively display a popup ad for your other mod?
What made you think that's a good idea? Now i will neither download this mod nor any of your other mods. In fact i will block your account from showing up in my searches.
This mod is great. All I can suggest is that you maybe can change name of mod, so that people have easier time finding it. Maybe add "sit" to name, as that is often part of search query when they look for mods like these.
For SMP reset, could you not have two different behavior files? One for the player and one for the NPC, then use OAR to trigger the SMP reset one only for the player?
Hello! Sorry for the inconvenience, but I have a problem... My character randomly has some spasms inside the inns. It took me hours of investigation until I discovered that it was because of this mod. By deactivating the mod the spasms stop happening. Any idea what could be causing this problem? there is no file conflict in my MO2. Here is a video of the problem happening (skip to 00:15)
I hope there is some way to solve it without having to remove the mod. I really loved this fix and the transition animations.
Looks like that is caused by the organic player animations mod. My guess is the author didnt have the animations start and end on the same frame. My mod contains no standing idle animations so I'd investigate that mod.
Ill also look into the clean up physics outfit payload that was added. Maybe that mod is bugged. If thats the case Ill remove the smp reset.
Ty, seems to me the issue is the physics reset payload resets player smp reguardless of what actor actually plays the animation. So that would make spasms happen every time an npc stands up from their seat.
I'm not sure if removing the SMP Reset payload is the optimal solution. The SMPReset payload works by casting a spell in CollisionReset.esp. If you want to make sure that the player doesn't get reset by NPCs, you can add a consition to the MagicEffect associated with that spell to make it player-exclusive (e.g. Subject.GetID("Skyrim.esm"|0x7) == 1). This way, with the annos still embedded in the animations:
* if an NPC sits, nothing happens (the spell is cast, but the MGEF never activates for the NPC due to the condition, and the SMP reset script is not executed) * if the player sits, SMP is reset as desired, without need of console command or power :)
When stripping the anno, it doesn't work for both the player and NPC
If you desire SMP resets for some more actors (instead of only player), like a critical boss looking weird: you can also create a new faction, add the player and all allowed actors to it and check for faction membership in the condition
I have an issue that goes away once mod is disabled. When pressing any movement button (WASD) while sitting on a bar stool, character just goes into standing animation with no transition at all. Works fine for normal chairs or benches.
I need some help with creating a mod. My goal in my mod is to have both the player and NPCs use the ChairDrinkingStart animation or the IdleTableDrinkAndMugEnter animation at a table, but it's not working. Of course, I know that chair animations wouldn't normally work at a table. So, I removed all the conditions from the animations and tried using the playidle command, but it still doesn't work. Specifically, the IdleTableDrinkAndMugEnter animation doesn't work when sitting at a table or a chair. The IdleTableDrinkAndMugEnter animation is an animation where nearby NPCs enjoy holding a mug and reacting to the bard's singing while sitting at a table bench. How can I make these animations work with both chairs and tables?
Why? ChairDrinkingStart and IdleTableDrinkAndMugEnter are vanilla animations, is it okay to change their names? Could you explain how the animations work with such furniture?
Sorry I cant explain too much as I dont remember exactly how it all functions. Animations names are generally the only thing that need to be changed to have them play differently unless there are annotations or motion data.
I recommend downloading the showanim command extender mod for skyrim if you want to figure out names of animations. Also hkxposer is good for this sort of stuff.
