    Troubleshooting:

Is the SLFR lens flare effect not working for you?  Here a few things to check.

    • Ensure your have installed SLFR - Flare Effect.esp.
    • SLFR - Flare Effect.esp must load AFTER YourWeatherMod.esp
    • SLFR - Flare Effect.esp must load BEFORE the SLFR - YourWeatherMod.esp

    Weather Mod Load Order Example:

    • Cathedral Weathers.esp
    • SLFR - Flare Effect.esp
    • SLFR - Cathedral Weathers.esp

Vanilla users: Please see the load order below.  You must have both SLFR - Lens Effect.esp and SLFR - Vanilla Weathers.esp installed.

    Vanilla Load Order Example:

    • SLFR - Flare Effect.esp
    • SLFR - Vanilla Weathers.esp

    Compatibility:

    • TLDR; Your mileage may vary if your use SLFR along with other patches to your weather mod.  Read on to learn more.
    • SLFR is a patch for weather mods and MAY NOT BE COMPATIBLE with other patches made for the same weather mod that SLFR patches.  If both SLFR and the weather mod patch modify the same WTHR forms then one will override the other depending on your load order.  If you desire the lens flare effect that SLFR adds you must load it AFTER  other weather mod patches.  You have been warned.

I will be uploading videos showing proper manual installation as well as installation using Vortex and Mod Organizer 2.  Stay tuned.

The flare disappears. I realize the issue is actually caused by this preset: Amethyst - Weathers and Reshade preset for Community Shaders

    Nice mod!

Does the Azurite Weathers version work with Azurite Weathers II?

    Thanks for your great work

It does not, as it requires the Azurite weathers mod as a master.

I have a question regard making a smashed patch between weather patches. I'm using Raid weather and "Make RAID weather horizon more perfect" patch which only has some edit to cloud layers and fog distance value. So I suppose to combine 2 patches, I need to copy the sun flare at the bottom of each weather from this mod to those from the raid horizon patch, is it correct? Thank you!

Looks wonderful. Thank you. Endorsed of course.

Question from a n00b: Can´t you put all flares (alpha, beta and gamma) into one file and let them "happen" randomly? LIke 33% chance for every flare-effect.

Anyways, as I said awesome work!

      Thanks Santheos,

I appreciate the complement.  Feel free to upload a screenshot to the gallery if you get the notion.  I do enjoy seeing which weather mods and flares people are using.  :)

As for the flare effects, I really wish I could have all the flare effects in one file, but unfortunately I can't find a way to make them all work in one mod. You can install all of the flare effects as separate mods using Vortex or Mod Organizer, but only one can be deployed at any given time.

In a nut shell, either all of the flare effects would need to have the same unique identifier in the "SLFR - Flare Effect.esp" file, which obviously is not possible being that each flares ID needs to be unique, or I would need to find a way to change which flare effect is used on the sun glare in the weather in real-time, and I don't think that's a thing.

I have another Flare Effect coming soon be sure to track SLFR so you don't miss any updates.

Thank you for your answer. I already tracked your mod.

I´m using Raid Weather (and I will probably never change it, cause it´s working perfectly) with this mod and it´s great.

As soon as I am finished with my load order, I´ll upload some screenshots (hat to reinstall the game and all mods).

I love this! I always liked the look of the lens flare effect in other games so this was such a nice natural looking addition to my mod list.
