Ayleid Wights will now visually equip and unequip armor when looted, allowing the player to loot and wear the previously unobtainable Ancient Ayleid armor, and craft it into brand new Ayleid armor.
FEATURES
Ayleids Equip Armor affects vanilla Ayleids (CC/AE The Cause) and their armor in the following ways:
Ayleid NPC Overhaul
- Ayleids now have equipped armor which can be looted by the player.
- Ayleid NPCs display their equipped armor on their in-game model; when that armor is looted, their appearance will reflect this.
- Ancient Ayleid armor values have been set to place it below Elven Armor.
- Ayleid armor values have been set to place it above Elven Armor.
- Ayleid items can be crafted at any forge. This requires completion of the "The Cause" Quest from the Creation Club added as part of Anniversary edition and the Elven Smithing perk.
- Ancient Ayleid armor pieces can be reforged into their New Ayleid variants at the forge.
- All the new Ayleid armors can be crafted at the forge including variants based on those in The Elder Scrolls: Blades that were not used in The Cause creation.
Patches are available for the following mods:
Weapons Armor Clothing & Clutter Fixes (with integrated support for Complete Crafting Overhaul Remastered)
- Applies WACCF keywords and adjusts some item stats for consistency with WACCF.
- Adjusts crafting recipes for consistency with CCOR and adds breakdown recipes.
- Supports CCOR if installed, but CCOR is not required.
- Ayleids Equip Armor will likely be incompatible with other mods that edit Ayleid Wight NPCs.
- We're happy for others to post their own fixes and compatibility patches for Ayleids Equip Armor for mods not covered.
- My co-author DrMonops for all the work testing, bug fixing, assisting with normal maps, and much more. Couldn't have done it without you.
