I added two different lighting template options in case of, a slightly brighter for people who are afraid of the dark and vanilla option where I literally replaced all templates with the original mod ones (vanilla then).
For the curious, all screenshots are made with Lux lighting, PRT ENB and a bit of ReShade
I optimized those chests and uploaded the mesh BSA in the update section. I didn't test it ingame though so * cross fingers *. The chest with books collision was missing so I also fixed that, both meshes should be more optimized now, especially the scroll one.
I guees, but I forgot. Plus, GGNUT update each his addon (and main Lux mod inclusive) like every 2-3 days.. It's hardly to check every time where he is and which of old or new I need as master for Auri's fancy pod - Lux patch.
that's.....been part of lux for several months. it was originally a separately available patch on this mod, iirc, and then when lux updated, that seperate patch was removed and added to the lux general mod. that's always been ggunit's pattern since he started lux. all you had to do was just re-download the lux mod. oh, and lux doesn't update his mods every 2-3 days. i know, because i follow lux updates. i just click the track mod button to do that. if there was an update, i'd have been immediately informed. then i'd just go to the logs and see what specifically was updated.
My own problem what I didnt modding SE 1.5.97 for last 3-4 months already. So, any patches and updates on author's mods too. I didnt monitoring all of them for now.
I'm following Lux mod updates too, bro. I personally respect GGNUT in comments twice with next words "thanks for almost fast updates for like 2-3 days, GGNUT! What another authors didnt do with they mods, but what they can". And on what he answered me "Thank you!". l'll maybe exaggerated with 2-3 days, but anyway - every time I waiting SOOOO LOOONG any another quest/global graphycs/companions etc mod's updates, the Lux at that time updating so fast. Like for 5-7 (maybe little more) days, as I said.
Sorry about the late reply, most of my time is spent on my Lux series pages. ^ ^" Patch is indeed included into Lux already, I patched Auri mod before I made that mod so one needs both to be compatible.
Hi! I noticed that 6 of her books are missing, I only found 1, and the spare lone bone arrow isn't to be found either its no biggy on that one but the most important one is the 7 books where did you place them I cannot see them even with glow books x.x
Found Books:
Bosmari Sleeping Song - was on the static bookshelf next to her bed
Missing/Not Found Books:
The Spinners of Y'ffre The Eldest: A Pilgrim's Tale The Green Pact and The Dominion The Wilderking Legend The Ooze: A Fable War Customs of the Tribal Bosmer
As for now I used QUI to get the rest, but I'd love to find them on my own next time ; w ; Please don't say you removed them, those 7 books are extremely important for Auri and what I need them for ^^;
This might sound really odd, but could you make an optional file to literally just remove her pod and have her chillin in a small camp or something? I always found it really jarring that she is just living in this magic pod in the forest.
Sooo....let me get this straight. You hate the mod author's vision of an auri home...so rather then learn how to use ck yourself you want him to rip out his entire mod, start from scratch, just to suite your own personal tastes? OK then. No, there's definitely there's not a Mt. Everest sized sense of entitlement here. It's the most easy and reasonable request ever made.
I made a new version of that patch, you can download it in the comment section of that mod unless the author is removing my comment or uploading the new patch version instead.
So Auri is a hoarder. Don't judge her. But I'm certain ggunit is right and some other mod is adding stuff. you can use the scroll wheel in your mouse to cycle through the objects in your screenshot. It helps a whole lot in circumstances like this
EDIT. Definitely not compatible then. That mod may be outdated too cause the cell has been reworked recently. That mod shouldn't mess with furniture, at least not in the version I checked.
You can still try to load my mod after all of those to be sure that my edits win all conflicts, maybe it could be partially fixed with load order.
any chance you would be willing to alter the exterior tree texture so that it matches whatever tree mod you are using? that way it blends in better with tree mods because the soulstime tree doesn't blend with Skyrim trees at all.
I'm not sure I fully understand, you're talking about the Solstheim mushroom textures ? I'm not editing those, they're just from the original game and Song of the Green mod. ^ ^ It really depends on whatever texture pack you're using I presume cause the pod should only rely on vanilla textures. I took those screenshots with two versions for instance, it can be really different from one to another.
Ooof I'm not sure about that, mushrooms have really specific UVs and tree textures shouldn't work great on those. Maybe it would literally need a custom texture. And that's not really my plan (and a lot of work too ^ ^)
You can still check different textures on the Nexus, some are closer to tree bark colours. I'm using two different ones on my screenshots and they're already a lot different.
no worries were hoping the exterior texture would be an easy swap to a regular tree texture path so the exterior blends with the falkreath forest but if it requires any real amount of work no worries. didn't really think about the textures for the mushrooms will have to dig around nexus.
The Green Pact only says to not harm the forests of Valenwood, not that you can't ever use wood for other purposes. The Bosmer often used imported wood when they didn't have access to bone for multiple things like furniture.
No, you're correct that Auri's not a big fan of wood, even outside of Valenwood- but Skyrim as a game doesn't offer a lot of alternative assets to work with, so I'm not going to make a fuss. :) It's very aesthetically pleasing!
As has been mentioned, this is outside of Valenwood where the usual rules don't quite apply. And Skyrim does indeed have limited resources to create furniture like this. Plus, I'm going to assume the wood was carefully harvested from already dead timber. It is possible. Some times trees fall down because of age or a storm, and at that point it's dead. In LOTR, when the story centers around Fangorn forest, a distinction is made between gathering wood to use as fire that's already dead, and cutting it off of trees. One is considered acceptable....the other results in a rather painful death.

The one added by said mod is unfortunately floating with your interior
Good job!
That sounds like a conflicting mod, especially if loaded after mine.
