    Hello Everyone,

After a sojourn of working out of town without my computer, I'm back at home and can return my attention to the much needed polishing of this mod. In my test version, I'm trying to get to the bottom of the problem of why the Guild members won't come back to work after the wedding...I mean, it wasn't THAT great a party....
I'll try to answer questions, a few each night.

Thanks for our patience. Walk with the Shadows, Lads and Lasses!

Hi! I just got this mod not too long ago, was excited to use it, however I've encountered a but of the problem! The red leather journal I need, which I'm pretty sure it said somewhere that it would start it all, isn't on the shelf! I've reloaded several times, re-checked that the mods in my folder correctly but I just cannot start

Okay. I have played through enough of this mod to feel confident in giving my feedback. Since the mod author is logging in regularly, I am assuming they are lurking. Please know this is just the opinion of one person. Obviously there are players who enjoyed this mod. I did not. I found it to be lackluster...extremely long and boring. It's great that there is voice acting but some of it is so cringe I'd rather all lines be spliced. (The spliced lines are quite well done and you kind of get used to it) Anyway, I got to a point about halfway through where I found myself hoping it would end soon and I couldn't play through the last bit. I ended up deleting it out of my game. I will try to say what I have to say without revealing any spoilers.

The quest for Rune is this insanely long rabbit hole. Why am I doing so much work for this guy that I've barely spoken to? Also chasing down leads that are so easy for him to chase down himself. By the end of it, I felt like I deserved a romance with Rune more than Bryn after all the time and effort I put into uncovering his uninspired backstory. I don't want to give too much away regarding the origins of his quest, but overall I didn't feel that Rune's story or it's ending fit the character at all or was worth the hours I put into completing it...the story to me, just didn't feel like Rune belonged in it.

Bryn. (Some spoilers here but this mod is so massive really I am only speaking to a small portion of it) I'll start by saying this is why most people download this mod...for the ability to romance Bryn. It's slim pickings finding anything that lets you do that. But I just felt like an insecure pushy teenager constantly pestering him to be with me and constantly asking him why he won't...after a few hours of that (real life hours not in game hours) I wouldn't want to be with me either. Good lord. I know the story was being dragged out, and I'll admit some of it was comical but it didn't feel like a love story or a romance AT ALL. I stopped when the mod sent me to Honorhall Orphanage because I knew what was probably coming next (sorry for spoiler) but you're telling me a guy I'm pushing for answers is all of a sudden going to want to adopt? There are plenty other good romance mods out there, like Kaidan, that feel like an organic love story, a blossoming romance, with adventure and build up, where you can't wait to see where it goes next. I didn't get that out of this mod. I didn't feel like I earned him I felt like a stalker.

BUGS - were the least of my problems. Most of the bugs I experienced have already been reported. I only had to advance the mod with the console once, when I couldn't place the baby urn in the crypt. Also Delvin locked himself in the vault and I had to console the doors to get him out. He did not give me a working vault key and the key by the door never worked for me, that includes the key to the guild masters room as well, so I just left all the doors open all the time. Oddly, the vault door was off it's hinges and sitting in the middle of the room when I started the guild, I had to use jaxon's positioner to move it back to where it belonged. Did someone forget to put that back before release? I was sure to remove anything that altered the flagon or the cistern before trying this out. I will also say that guild members want to spend WAY too much time in the bath. Like, Vex and Delvin were in there my entire playthrough. Maybe that was intentional since Delvin's obsessed with her.

THE WOODEN CHAIRS - Please stop. There are chairs clipping into everything, for the sake of getting actors to sit down on furniture. There's a bathroom? Wooden chairs over the holes to sit on. A bed? Wooden chairs inside it to get the actors to sit. It's easy enough to place animation markers to get actors to do what you want. Everywhere I went there was a wooden chair in some kind of furniture to support the mod. I know this is technically in beta, and perhaps there hadn't been time to polish that up yet.

The last thing I will bring up is the edits to cells that were made in Riftweald Manor and the Nightingale Sanctuary...and maybe some other places I didn't explore. There should be a script running so that changes are not made to the cells until the appropriate time is reached in the story. Doing the vanilla quest to get the plans from Riftweald, wall pieces and floor pieces were missing, and I could see there was a marble bathroom and some other custom stuff. It was a messy mix of vanilla versus the mod. Same thing with the Nightingale Sanctuary. Custom music and such, but missing walls and floors where edits had been made because the mod hadn't advanced far enough in the story and the cell was half modded half vanilla.

--- I know this post is insanely long, and probably overcritical, but I wanted to be thorough. I do respect that this mod was under production for a long time and a lot of work and hours went into making this, it just wasn't for me. I'm sure I sound like a diva. I will of course endorse this mod for the effort that went into its creation and all the people that came together for it. Things that bug me probably won't but a lot of other people, so don't let this wall of text keep you from downloading if you really want to try it. This forum is full of people having bugs, I was lucky enough not to experience hardly any and I have 1400 mods installed so I thought I'd share my experience with the story without giving too much away. --

I might try friendly brynjolf instead because it adds FAR less to the game, and only has one endeavor. BUT Ostim Lovers does add Bryn as a romance candidate, and if you use NFF, you can elope with him, and also make him a follower. Far less complex and less bugs in your game.

I don't really see the point of commenting to say "BTW I hate your mod."

Feedback with clipping and bugs is good. Shitting on it for the sake of shitting on it makes no sense. You're giving feedback that the MA isn't going to change because that's the core of the mod. So don't play it and move on. Let everyone else experience it for themselves without your (yes, diva) wall of text.

Bravo ChaoticComrade ( give you a kudo - hope it works)

      - love this mod  its a nice playthrough - EJ put so much effort and work in it and all videos regarding the story of this mod were published on youtube (so why surprised about the story and graphics) - all the hard work is for FREE !!

I am not a profi  at all (retiered old lady with granchild support) but  i  could solve all problems READING instructions and comments. by myself.

Sorry for my english not a native, and I never wrote a reply but this comment is really  a shame.

And a big thanks to EJ  for her great work and lovely idea regarding Rune and her best friend.

Yup, I was trying to be thorough in all aspects knowing full well people weren't going to like what I had to say. It's a giant mod with a long story and I wanted to be thorough. I wasn't trying to -s#*! on- anything I was just being honest toward my experience. I think I was pretty clear about that.

Yeah, the mod is free. Yes, I acknowledged all the blood and sweat I know went into it creating this. Does that mean I have to jump on here and sing praises? No. Commenting on things the MA is never going to change is pointless? I don't think that's true, this forum exists for people to express their opinions as well as bugs, ect.

I was extremely clear that this is just -my- opinion, and I am one person. Plenty of other people have played and enjoyed this mod and left some great positive feedback. But I'm also not afraid to say it wasn't for me and why. She can always delete my comment if it's that offensive.

Nah, great thanks for posting this. Really. Each time I open a quest mod page I hope to see some comment like this instead of generic "is it competible with WACCF?" or "thank you for your work :3". Really helps to pick whether I'll try it or not.

I married Remi but this quest doesn't terminate when there's a marriage flag. I really, really want to get rid of this quest without a divorce.

Did anyone ever figure out how to get the Thieves out of Nightingale Hall?? They've been stuck there forever 😭
I tried doing console commands, and turning off Immersive Citizens but they're stuck :((((

I really want to try this mod, the Thieves Guild is literally my favorite faction in the game, but I have SE and I'm terrified of breaking my game. I don't mind some bugs, but I'm scared from the comment section and the hiatus notice in the description that it's literally unplayable. Does anyone know?

I just finished my playthrough of this mod and it was majorly buggy. I had to use console commands for nearly every quest and thus missed a lot of story
I would say it's half playable...

It worked well in the beginning and slowly got worse as the quests went on which is a shame bc the story is so well done. Hopefully it will be fixed some day and we can all enjoy it. The guild members are stuck in Nightingale Hall for me rn and I can't figure out how to fix it now lol

Hello, tell me, please, I installed the build of Astarta's Skyrim Ultra Special Legendary GOTY 4K Edition, after installing Brynjolf and the Riften Guild - Birthright, I do not have a magazine, and if you launch a new game, it is not there either. Is there a problem with the build? It's just that although there is an alternative launch and water fix, but since Brynjolf and Rift Guild - Birthright are installed later, should he change the functions for himself or am I not understanding correctly?

I really like this mod, but I have a problem, I'm stuck on the quest called secrets surfacing, after completing the step speak with brynjolf about the special shipment, I lose the quest hint, I find Delven Mallory, but he has no new dialogue, I went to Markarth's inn, these npcs also have no new dialogue, I don't know how can I proceed to the next step.I restarted the mission three times and still can't get to the next step, every time I get stuck here.I'm not sure if it's a bug or I'm missing something.

Hi, same issue for me. I even found the developer's video for the beta testers and searched for a test necklace to figure out what the quests are, but I can't locate it.

Had similar issue - needed to keep working the parallel quest until you get the powdered tusk for the hagseer. also needed to make sure Bryn was at the right place to speak with him when he was already a follower

love the mod, though currently confounded by the ‘finding the bear’ quest ..

Just got the Keeping Your Blade Clean speach after coming back with the special shipment. I didn't kill anyone. Using sneak + invis I just went in and stole it back. Isn't that the whole point of beeing sneaky, and still there is no such response, mod just assumed you painted the walls red... Oh well, just thought I'd point that out, was a bit immersion breaking.

Thanks for all the hard work, looking forward to the rest of the mod :-)
