Version 2.0.0 is here. Lots of big changes. Mod rotates the player by default now instead of the camera and controller users can finally rotate with the right thumbstick as requested. See the changelog for the full list of changes.

1.4.0 Adds the ability to rotate the player with controllers (left/right shoulder buttons), fixes the zoom bug when sheathing, added pitch settings, and rearranged the MCM

    VR Users:
I recommend View Yourself VR instead of this mod

Could someone tell me exactly why the Heels Fix patch is outdated?

Heels Fix's author said to not use the patch or it'd break their mod.

      From author:
"If you use "show player in menus" (or any other mod that affects 3rd person camera), just don't enable 3rd person camera correction in HeelsFix MCM."

This mod works (almost) correctly for me on AE1170. I don't have any crashes related to it.
However, when I equip an item (armor, etc.), my character is moved to the left and ends up between the inventory window and the item window, sometimes it's distorted.
Does anyone else have this problem?
I also installed the Customizable Camera mod, do you think this could be related?

There are times when it would be nice to rotate the 3D Model while viewing the player in menus wondering if there is a way to use the/a shift button to switch between rotating the player and the Model....just thinking outloud!!

Somehow the item model always appeared on top of the player so I couldn't see anything. Not sure if it's because i'm on ultrawide.
    Any idea?

This is my problem too. So far I haven't seen a fix for it.

if you still need, on mcm there is an option to disable preview of armor and another item model

you edit the skyui mcm to not show item, or move the item preview

Is it possible to force player into idle when opening inventory while moving? Also this is probably not possible, but it would be nice to have an option to hide all 3D items except dragon claws. For puzzle reasons.

I suspect this needs an update, causes an occasional crash when going to menus.

    Really unfortunate.

Dont bother. Mod is super buggy and author is too lazy to properly support it.

Lazy? What audacious entitlement. Modders make these as a hobby and not for profit- it isn't their job and they are under zero obligation to stay chained to a computer to keep it updated for you.  if you want it supported get off your bum and learn how to do it yourself.

It surprises me that no one else has thrown their hat in the ring at this point, given how good this mod is, being unsupported by author or fan is a real shame.
