I really like this mod (and your other "A House for..."-mods), but the location strikes me as a bit strange. Would it not make sense to e.g. put the house in Darkwater Crossing? Or even Ivarstead? I realise there are mods that change both of those (I use Arthmoor's for the former and TGC for the latter), but I imagine there are locations close enough to make sense that aren't touched by the main overhauls. :)
He tells you he wants to stay close to the tomb. I didn't put the house in those other locations because of other mods that change both those locations.
This is so wonderful. I really love the location, but I also use Arthmoor's Ivarstead which addresses Golldir's house. I really would love to keep the house in this location so if you ever consider just having it as an optional player home , tavern or misc NPC home - I'd love to add this to my game. Thanks so much.
I have potentially noticed one minor thing, though it may be due to (or conflict with) A Quality World Map, or my already completing the quest before installing, or simply my being new to Skyrim. Just on the map, a small section of the river around the house is missing (all the river is still there when you visit). I deactivated my few other mods, and clean saved, but it persisted - yet that could be due to map changes becoming baked-in. Or an unrelated issue or my error somehow - still, I'd be interested if anyone else notices the same thing. Cheers.
Btw, because I'd already finished the quest, Golldir was still up in the crypt entrance area, but after I re-spoke to him he walked to the house.
I can't really help you with crashes. I have not had any issues, nor has this been reported as being an issue before. Use Crash Logger and see what it says when you crash.
Great mod, thanks for this. Although this question is quite far from being related to ur amazing mod. Just asking what is your mod in the World Map in the images?
A Clear Map of Skyrim and Other Worlds. It comes with a prebuilt one but I use the generator to make it reflect my load order. It's a bit of work, but well worth it.
LOL What an immersive little mod! I was really irritated with Golldir deciding to stay in the crypt with his dead aunt after the quest. -.- Thank you for this (and your Illia house mod, too!).
thank you so much. i plan on making a extremely immersive story this time with golldir as my 1 follower throughout game.. along with KAIDAN.. this mod completes it thanks
Wonderful mod, like your other mods "A house for Ilia" and the "Frostflow Lighthouse" . Feels like your dragonborn makes a real difference in the world of Skyrim :) Thanks !

Golldir still visits the crypt as part of his AI packages with this mod.
Thanks !
