Tyrannosaurids are large carnivorous beasts that used to be widespread all throughout Tamriel. They came in multiple variations, while they would be scaly in warmer climates, there were others that were covered in proto-feathers to survive colder climates. They often hunted large animals like mammoths or just about anything they can get their teeth on.
It was thought that they were extinct in the Dawn Era until they were rediscovered. From the samples they've taken and studying their physiology, Mages and scholars concluded that the ones that were rediscovered are not the direct descendants of the Tyrannosaurs that once existed on Tamriel. Wherever they originated from is still a mystery, but it shows that they have been here for a while living in seclusion.
- 6 variants of Tyrannosaurs: Tyrannosaurus Rex Zuchtyrannus Tarbosaurus Daspletosaurus Albertosaurus Gorgosaurus
- New mechanics and abilities: Roar = Lets out a loud roar that puts nearly everyone in fear for a short time.
Gorge = If not blocked in time it can be very fatal, it will heal itself for a small amount and it will trigger its roar. It has a bit of a cooldown so you'll have to figure out when to block. If you block its chomp it will cancel the effect and you'll get a buff for a short time, if you don't block it you'll get a debuff instead.
Nudge out = It will move forward in the direction it's facing despite where it's at as long as it's hit from a far enough distance and it's not moving. (This is to mitigate the likelihood it gets stuck somewhere due to their size, (mammoths have this problem too), but it's made so it doesn't trigger every time, I'll have an optional plugin that does not include this script in case anyone wants it.)
Daspletosaurus, Albertosaurus & Gorgosaurus are weaker but will leap at the enemy and cause bleeding damage, this can not be blocked so keep a distance or find a way to dodge it.
- In future updates: Unique buffs/abilities for each Tyrannosaur; Tarbosaurus - increased damage to Daedra. Albertosaurus - maims enemies for a short time. More to come.
Addons that will expand this mod while being optional. - New loot and sounds
