Does this work with orginal Footprints mod? Dont really want to use SPID version of main mod as it has some problems.

    Thank you for this!
Daedric Horse's footprint in CC is blue like Arvak's, I wonder if you could make a red version of it?

Thank you for your awesome work.

However my reindeer doesn't get footprints by any means, tried adding the id I see in xedit but no hope.
Tried with PO3 tweaks snow material on+off, nothing changed, all other npc/animals/my character have footprints.

Check if your reindeer is 0xD65~ccvsvsse001-winter.esl.

If not, send me esp with your version, I will add optional version for you.

Thank you for the help, I'm trying to troubleshoot a bit more.
Also tried without the spid for footprints and only with the original footprints mod and didn't have any prints for the reindeer with this either, the thing is I haven't met the reindeer before I put the spid mods in and I'm not sure if it worked before.

Gonna update if I find any solution to help more people.

Only this mod adds footprints to reindeer. Original one and SPID variat do not cover AE content from Saturalia.

Install original mod + SPID version + this one and do test:
      1. Find place where you have footprints.
      2. Use mod like Cheat Engine to spawn Reindeer or command placeatme.
      3. Mount him and check footprints.

I tried everything and this does not work for me, but I do not want to bother you more, maybe when this gets some more feedback, I will find a solution.

This is no problem for me.
Solution is really easy to find.

      Tell me:
      1. Are footprints working for you (player)?
      2. Spawn reindeer and tell me its FormID.

FormID is good. Are footprints working for you, I mean for player?

To make it work for your reindeer:
      1. Open console and mark reindeer with cursor.
      2. Add spell via console:
      help footprintsFootstepsAbilityCreatureDeer
      addspell SpellFormID

      My friend thank you!
The add command fixed it! Although I found it by using "help footsteps", as no other help command would show me the correct id, but nethertheless this option worked!

Thank you, I had become obsessed and spend three days trying to fix this! Lifesaver!

Thank you for this!! I've actually wondered how to add hoofprints to mod-added horses. If I'm deciphering your text file correctly, I just need to add the Footsteps - Horse spell to the new horse npcs?
