About this mod

A legendary modder made a legendary mod. (Seriously, you guys have no idea how much pure soul is put into a mod like this). I just wanted to continue the legacy of his hard work. Here's your beloved detection meter to make your Skyrim 1.6.xxx feel a little more like Asssassin's Creed again :)

Basically it's the stealth meter from Assassin's Creed updated for 1.6.629+ (should work for all 1.6.xxx versions of Skyrim actually) (For an actual description of the mod visit the original modpage

I'm a very bad programmer. But I love Skyrim mods. I stumbled upon an article a few days ago by Maxsu, the mod author of some of the most amazing mods on the nexus, including this one. In the article Maxsu explains why he dropped support for AE for his plugins explaining that some people think that they are entitled to get an update (which by the way can take a lot of effort depending on the complexity of the mod) instead of actually trying to port it themselves and just see what they're demanding people to do for free. So that inspired me to actually try to learn to port some of my favorite mods myself and see how hard it can be. And so I commented on that article. To my surprise the author responded to my comment and actually gave me useful steps and pointers to try porting his mods. And lemme tell ya, you really feel stupid at the start. But with a lot of help and pointers I managed to learn a lot about porting and bring you this mod.

Moral of the story: Sometimes you have to actually put the effort into the things you want instead of just demanding them + a lotta things aren't as impossible as you might think. Also please think about your actions before you harrass mod authors that have a life just like you.

Now enjoy the mod on AE :)
