Looking into the issue. Sorry guys. I'll try to fix it soon. Use the temporary version from the comments for now. I think I need to change some addresses that I wasn't aware were changed in the new version of the game
Installed the update on a tested game play and the old version did not work, updated and now can't run Skyrim due to DLL and SKSE64 issues and Skyrim says the issue is with this mod.
Used the fix from the sticky and worked but after installing Smoothcam and true hud and doing new game, I had to use mod autor updated version and it work's.
The link in the sticky worked for me. I thought the build in the regular file area would have been more up to date but that link of the dll was the ticket.
Make sure you included all the requirements. I'm guessing you missed this one maybe https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/63057?tab=files
darkleo001 you were right; I didn't pay attention and didn't read that it need the mod Detection Meter v1.11. With it I was able to progress to the main menu. I haven't test it yet but hopefully no problem in the future. Thank you guy for your time and help.
on 6.6 attempted to add folders missing in the latest update while using the downloaded dll file from kingeric and i get a game breaking error that simply will not let the game run. My guess is that the newest update is simply incompatible and that if you have the older file your better off just staying with that.
Second, is it missing some folders? It looks like your update doesn't have folders, so the dll will go into Skyrim's Data folder. The original Detection Meter has this dll file in SKSE - Plugins. I assume this should overwrite the original version? I can manually add the folders but want to check that this is what's needed.
I added in the folders so the dll overwrites. The game runs fine from the few seconds I tested it (no freezes or crashes), but there's no visible meter. The vanilla stealth "eye" was missing, as it should be, but there wasn't anything else either.
The update fixed the issue with the folders, but the meter is still invisible for some reason. I tried using dMenu to adjust settings, but still didn't see the meter anywhere.
I tried the kingeric dll last night and the game crashed as soon as I loaded the save, which didn't happen with Badee's update (which I tried half a dozen times in testing different things to see if it would work). I'll give it another try, though, just in case it was a fluke. I'm also running version 1170.
Game was running flawlessly on the file swap made on latest 6.6 for me until i saw the update n clicked. Now everything is wack and the folders are out of place.

Install: replace the original dll in the mod.
Note: Mainly address the inconsistant struct definition between pre and post 1.6.1130
Tested with 1.5.97, 1.6.640 and 1.6.1170
I tried several times and find the meter is invisible without this.
My game version is 1.6.1170.
works perfectly
