    Hi there. I was trying to change the position of certain items in relation to equipped armor (Specifically potions). I assumed it was with the conditions tab but I couldn't find how to do it. Does anyone have any clue how to do it?

      Conditions by type of armors

      For custom displays, create an "Equipment override" and use the conditions there, same logic applies.

    Has anyone made a preset where you unequip all items when wearing casual clothes (like town NPC's clothing)?

    Having an issue with the BARD preset. I load it to a follower and the Lute, Flute, and Drum show up accordingly when I add the items to their inventory. I try to do the same with another follower (using NFF), and nothing shows up on the follower. When I look at one of the items (Drum) for example) on the individual it works, the field above the drum animation says "ITEM: Drum." When I look at the individual it is not showing up, it says "ITEM: Not Loaded."

    I've tried deleting the items, adding a new item from scratch, reinstalling the preset, even copying over from the one that works, but the items still say "not loaded." There doesn't seem to be a way to add anything to this field, so at a loss.

      The display just looks for the items in their inventories.

      Are you using Actor tab?

      yes, the two followers have identical inventories when it comes to the Lute, Flute, and Drum. The entries in the IED custom tab are identical as well, with only the Item: Drum/Flute/Lute being in the first equipped follower, and the Item: Not Loaded in the other follower.

      EDIT: and yes, looking under the actor tab.

      Then none of the displays that checks for items will work on that NPC I wonder. You should make adjustments if you want to show the instruments, such as removing the inventory filter condition.

      My guess is that NFF handles the followers inventory differently than vanilla, so the items are not actually in their inventories, but in another container that is linked to them.

      Thanks. I will try to remove the inventory filter option. Unsure how that affects the "Item: Not Loaded" issue, but I will give it a shot.

      Strange thing about NFF and IED then if you think it might be the cause. No issues with the Gear Nodes tab and using invisible with conditions on all the followers - whether it be global, actor, or NPC. Issue only seems to be with the actor's tab in the Custom tab.

    GP - Potions (with straps).json and GP - Potions.json (without straps) seem to be identical, both have straps. It looks like something went wrong with FOMOD

      Yeah, maybe, I need to fix some presets in the mod. Just manually delete the straps if you don't want them.

    Sorry asking a stupid question, so I messed my font size setting and I can't see or click anything. Is there any way to reset the  whole setting? I tried reinstall it with fresh download but still didn't fix

      Search your mod folders or overwrite folders for settings files related to IED and wipe them out.

    heya, while un equipped it shows the weapon where i want it but when i equip it it resets to vanilla placements. how do i keep them in place?

      Use View>Gear nodes to place your weapons.

    Hi there all,

    Been using IED for a while, and results are great, along with Guards pose & Backpack repositioner!
    I have recently come up with an issue that is not caused by IED or any of it's presets, but I am hoping to find a solution by getting help from here should the author finds the time to take a look into.
    My problem was created when I mistakenly decided to install AllGUD along with IED. I honestly don't remember what was the reason for doing so (it was not curiosity, that's for sure). Regretfully, I discovered shortly after AllGUD installation that this mod & IED simply don't get along.
    I removed Allgud from MO2, deleted everything that was generated in my MO2 load order and everything looked normal. However, there was an issue that took me a while to spot. The coin pouch from AllGUD was still visible, effectively overlapping the coin pouch created by IED... I discovered this, when I tried to change the position of the pouch and discovered that it was actually inside the AllGud pouch...
    No matter what I have tried, the AllGUD pouch does not go away. Kinda makes me wonder how on earth it's still there after deletion of anything AllGUD relevant...

    What I am asking here is simple. Is there a way (by using IED interface) to get rid of the AllGUD pouch?

    Any help / opinion is appreciated!

      Lol, why would you do that.
      First check in IED for duplicates, maybe there's another pouch preset.

      No, IED can't interact with ALLGUD displays, it only manages what it creates.
      Try to clean ALLGUD scripts from your save using ReSaver. Or get rid of all your money to see if the pouch goes away, then take the money back.

      Thx a lot for your insights, some where already done by me.
      I tried giving all my money to a follower, both pouches went away. Made a save, reloaded and got my money back. Regretably, both pouches reappeared...

      I read a comment elsewhere in Nexus, saying that in a similar issue a reinstallation / update of XPMSSE helped. Maybe I will give it a try..,

    How would I make a specific arrow type invisible when equipped? It's for extra-large arrows because I use the CheskoQuiver node and long arrows stick out and look quite bad. Or I suppose I could force them to use the normal back quiver node, but the animations wouldn't match.. I've been looking through the tutorials and experimenting but so far I haven't succeeded with either.

      The rocket launcher Ivory Bow? You can adjust it pretty easily in Gear nodes.

      If you just want to make it invisible:
      - Navigate to View>Gear nodes and select the tab; Global tab with Player or NPC selected or Actor tab with your character or NPC selected,
      - Toggle "Positions" and find the "Quiver Chesko" node.
      - Tick "Invisible" and "Requires condition" list and add a condition for the equipped arrow:

      If you want to move the arrows from the hip to the back:
      - Navigate to View>Gear nodes and select the tab; Global tab with Player or NPC selected or Actor tab with your character or NPC selected,
      - Toggle "Placements" and find the "Quiver" node.
      - For the default field, leave it at "Quiver chesko".
      - Create a new "Override" and add a condition for the equipped arrow, then assign the default quiver node:

      If you have my other mod, then the animations will automatically switch accordingly.

    Is there a tutorial that shows how to set something a Default so that we don't have to reset merges and settings on a new game?

    I saw there was an import/export function on defaults but from some quick testing I couldn't figure out how to get it working right.

      You've probably saved the default profile at some point if it's changing your stuff at a new game.
      Go to SKSE\Plugins\IED and find the "Default" preset or something and delete it or replace it with the one from IED installation (I don't remember if there's one tho).
      You can save the default settings in File>Default config>Export and load the default settings in File>Default config>Import.

      This file is automatically loaded on new games.

      Thanks, meant I want it to change at the start of a new game (or in this case loading a save w/o IED) but I can't get it to work.

      I tried two things:

      • I first imported my preset, then did File>Default Config>Export, then reloaded the save. But it was still using the base default instead of mine.
      • Then I tried File>Default Config>Import on loading a new save which worked. But on reloading the save it goes back to base default instead of mine.

      What am I doing wrong?

      It only loads that profile on a new game.
      On an existing save, you need to use the import option.

      Did you save your game after importing? Most of the stuff from IED are saved in the SKSE co-save.

      Ah, ok. I tested again with a new game and now I see it's working. Also found out you have to do a proper new game and not "coc qasmoke" from the main menu since that causes favorites to not display for some reason.

      Now I need to figure out why the quiver placement for chesko is clipping into the body... don't remember seeing that when I tested it yesterday.

      When you use COC, the game only equips the Iron War Axe by default. You need to equip or drop to the ground the other weapons in order for them to show as favorited.

      If I get everything set up and merged, and export it as Default, would I still need the original presets mods anymore? Like, if I use Missile's Preset, Carry My Stuff Horse, and Weapons Repositioner, then merge and export, can I get rid of those mods then?

      Yes, but you should only delete the presets folder, as a mod may use an .esp to add stuff to the game or other configs that are necessary for the presets.
