Changelogs
Version 1.2.0
Oops, after a very brief experimentation looks like I proved myself wrong. The esp wasn't redundant after all.
Reverted to the original (and final, I promise) version.
Version 1.1.0
After lengthy experimentation, I'm now convinced that the esp is totally redundant and should be removed.
Hopefully further lengthy experimentation won't prove me wrong :)
Some actors are supposed to pop out of sarcophagi, rise from alcoves or altars, explode out of barrels and so on -- their intention being to cleverly ambush and surprise the unwary Dragonborn who would never have expected something so cunning. Sometimes, when a previously-cleared cell resets, they no longer use their assigned furniture but stand obliviously beside it or trample around. When the 'ambush attack' triggers, they finally notice that someone is patiently waiting nearby and react... sometimes with the empty sarcophagus dramatically bursting open. It goes without saying that the purpose of the mod is to hopefully prevent the glitch.
I can't of course prove, or even be sure, that this works; certainly not guarantee... caveat emptor. All I can say is that I've been playing with this enabled for months, revisiting old dungeons, keeping an eye out, and the glitch never happened again. Luck?... Quite possible. Coincidence?... Even more possible. If you see that it doesn't work for you, this can be safely installed and removed anytime. No point in complaining because this is the best I can do.
