What a difference this mod makes, it could possibly be presets I installed that messed it up. I just switched to a male character and then got the bug. Only after installing a Nord preset. Really nothing to fix it, or just keep your male character looking like a filthy caveman. Not sure about female presets. Just installed this mod with the male preset for more game ;)
I installed the black face bug remover for the face gen stuff, and it killed this mod. I went through the editor and couldn't find a thing, multiple times. Then I came here to reinstall because their hair went ugly again and noticed the black face post. I think it had no issues with other mods, must be with the face gen thing in race menu?
Hi, I am about to install your mods in my Skyrim SE, I'm using Vortex with all the goodies, I have KS, Cazy, Apachii and a couple of other hair mods required by the mods I have installed. I have been a Vortex user for some time and understand how important the INSTALL order is versus the load order. Can you tell me what install order I should use for your mods? 1st: Main File, I got that part (duh.) But now all the patches, I have to use 7 different patches for the mods I have installed. Is there a list you can throw at me? I'm on LL as well, search for BDNelson for contact.
sorry to say mate, i really like your mod, though the incompatibility with so many other mods, you just cant compete against the bigger mods like immersive citizens, when there are other hair mods out there that dont conflict as much if at all, i cant see you fixing this issue as stated in your description you already know it dose not work with npc mods and re-texture mods, anyone that wants to play the vanilla skyrim with nicer hair only, great for them, not saying your work is bad, just needed more work, the conflicts are just too great, im sure if this was not the case you would have the most popular hair re-texture mod out there,
Uhm, isn't the incompatibilities only a relative issue if they just lead to blackface issues? Unless there's a difference then comparatively you'll find that the majority of hair replacers will lead to that kinda issue by default without any effort to fix it on their end and thus require the face discoloration fix or similar to make sure the game retain the skin color of the NPC. In other words, applying the same mod that fixes those should work to fix any incompatibilities one would have with this mod, no? I haven't downloaded any mods that would conflict with this one yet so can't say for sure, but that's what sounds most logical to me.
Either way, majority of hair replacers are completely broken now after the AE update due to the above issue until SKSE64 fixes and reenables their plugin support. In other words, this is the only hair replacer I've found that works until that happens. So a huge kudos to the author for their effort in making this.
I am loving this mod so far! It's lovely and immersive and really adds beauty to the game. The one problem I've noticed, though, is that one of the servants in Dragonsreach, Fianna, has purple hair. So far it seems it's only on her. I'm not using any other mods that edit hair or head shape and I've placed Hair Replacer Assets after Hair Replacer in my load order and am using the USSEP patch in the downloads. The only other mods I'm using that alter NPC's are skin, eye, and brow mods. I can force her hair to load if I use the console command "setnpcweight" but it's only temporary. The hair shows fine in the race menu, too. Since she's the only NPC I've encountered so far with whom I've had this problem it's not a big deal for me right now, but if there is a solution for it, or if I've done something wrong, I would like to know, too. Otherwise, the mod is beautiful! Thanks!
Don't you use the Preview Files function before you download a file? If you had, you would know exactly what is present in the archive package, and it's not "adware":
one text file; one XML file; five NIF files.
None of those are capable of delivering adware. Period, full stop.
I don't know how you arrived at that erroneous conclusion, but you've revealed your lack of technical prowess, your reliance on things you don't truly understand (like AV software), and your inability to use effectively the tools available to you. Given this sorry state, how were you so certain of your conclusion that you felt justified making an accusation rather than asking a question?

? Can some one make a OBIS patch for the replacer? That would fix a lot of black faces.
nvm will use THAT.one text file;

five NIF files.
