XMPSSE includes the modifications from realistic rag dolls and force, so don't need that specific mod.
I have XMPSSE and I have this effect as well in Skyrim VR. However, I didn't use this mod.
The effect can be achieved via ini file edits. Specifically,
[Animation]bEnableHavokHit1 (uses havok physics to animate response to hits) [Animation] fHavokHitImpulseMult 100 (strength of hit on living and ragdolls) [VRInput] bOutputMeleeVelocity 1 (my attacks move actors location, optional) [Animation] fHavokHitTimeSec 1 (how long effect lasts, below 1 sec doesn't work)
It's fantastic for projectiles.
Cudo's to author for making it easier to install as an option.
I use this and the flinching mod as well as 'no spinning death.' They all work together but the jelly bug wont go away but I dont mind it too much because its funny

In vanilla skyrim there was a bug that caused NPCs to crumple to the ground if the two were installed together.

[Animation]
bEnableHavokHit=1
fHavokHitImpulseMult=100.0000
uiMaxNumActorHit=50
bAlwaysDriveRagdoll=1
can edit fHavokHitImpulseMult for intensity of body deformation. 70 is subtle, I chose 100 to be more pronounced but immersive. Mod is set to 150.
has anyone figured out how to fix this?

NOTE: This is with NPC havok hit not in either list I think cause I had disabled it, but these are the other mods i'm running.
