About this mod
This mod gives an ability to glide (not fly).

So, one day I was looking for some mods that would allow my character to slowly, gracefully glide from heights without using any extra items. I found some flying mods, tried them, but didn't like them enough. So I decided to create my own one. Here is what I managed to make.
Fair warning
I developed this mod while playing Enderal Special Edition, so I'm not entirely sure it would work in Skyrim exactly the same way it works in Enderal. It should tho.
Requirements
If you want your gliding to be gliding, you'll need:
Smooth Random Jump Animation (v2.1 (not a Rework!) (Look for it in Old Files section)) - You'll need three specific animation files, which are:
Put these files into folder mentioned above and that's it.
And three mods I highly recommend using:
How to get -> Glide Tome -> Glide Power -> Glide Ability
Glide
Well, I think the process is quite simple and intuitive. Jump off the cliff, glide down to the ground, no falling damage taken. When your character lands, the effect will dissipate after a few seconds. Rinse, repeat.
MCM Menu
Glide is somewhat configurable. You can adjust:
AS IS
Glide comes "As is". Everyone is free to report bugs, but don't expect me to fix anything.
Translations
There are translation files present, in case it ever needed. They just aren't translated. Everyone is free to do it and upload anywhere.
UPD: Glide is now translated to Russian!

And three mods I highly recommend using:
- True Directional Movement - Latest versions have a special setting for mid-air controls, which can make Glide much more... controllable
- Better Jumping SE - Lets you jump while sprinting, and Glide has some settings that depend on this ability
- Classic Sprinting Redone
How to get -> Glide Tome -> Glide Power -> Glide Ability
- Once you've installed the mod, you can use AddItemMenu or QUI or whatever to get a Glide Tome which upon reading grants your character a Glide Power. That, or you can just add the spell through console:
- Once you've acquired a Glide Power spell, just cast it to turn on/off the Glide Ability.
- Once you've cast Glide Power to turn the ability on, you can now start gliding just by jumping.
