There now is a mod that allow for the VR version of Skyrim to use ESL, circumventing the need for the users to tweak those files in order to make them work, go check it out : Skyrim VR ESL Support

For anyone that wishes to use these in VR, change the Resources.esl to Resources.esm or .esp, install the HS mods and patches that you want. Launch Bash from MO2, find one of the HS mods you have installed in the left plane, select it with left click, it will load a box in the right plane listing that mods master files. Resources.esl will appear red, right click on Resources.esl, a drop down box will appear, left click "onchange to..." In the file name box simply change the .esl to .esm or .esp, whichever you had chosen. Click the save box at the bottom of the right plane. Repeat this for each HS mod / patch.
Hello, I've always been curious about this: mod files are saved on the local computer, so they shouldn't be affected if they're not updated. But why does HS Resources affect the local mod once it's updated? I know I should always check and update this mod, but I really don't understand why this is the case. Pls someone explain it for my dum head.
I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to say, each updates add or modify files that were present in the previous versions so they should naturally overwrite versions of the previous files whenever you're updating the mod.
For those using Skyrim Project Optimizations (SPO) and were having issues with HS's amazing collection I have made patches for every location that had been made. (Might not be needed, but there none the less)

Coming back after a year or so, I had forgotten your my guy for house refabs lol til I seen one of my other mods (Hylios manniquins) had been updated :)

Vortex doesn't seem to be recognizing the latest version of HS Resources ESL (4.6) file as present. It's telling me that I'm missing the master file for all the various mods that rely on the Resources, is this an error on Vortex's end or is something else acting weird?
Not sure why, others have shown pictures it working so I'm guessing something went wrong during your update. Try deleting the Resources and reinstalling them fresh, it should be working. (Instead of the update through Vortex)
Oh I just scraped the Forum entry since it was left abandoned, I wasn't expecting anybody to go look for it. I'll have to update the Loot entry when I get the chance. The troubleshooting section in the FAQ serves the same purpose if you're encountering some compatibility issues.
My idea is to try a new game. I want to be clear that I'm not claiming this is a solution. I'm claiming it is the idea that I had when I saw your post.
When writing NPC mods, I've had some trouble with Solitude which were avoided with a new game.

Shadow has been mashing a few of them together, maybe those might be of interest to you.

HSHoneysideBoatTravel is used in Honseyside
Those scripts should be present in those respective mods. Maybe you're not up to date on those.
