Because of sweeping changes to this mod, you should be 100% sure no traces of previous versions are left over before updating. You will run into issues with other mods if loose open helmet meshes are left over.
The .esp has changed as well, any mod that depended on the previous version will no longer work, and may even no longer be necessary depending on the function of said mod.
All previous patches have been updated to work with 2.0 and are now included in an Optional File for ease of updating.
Mods that add new variants of helmets (like ones with new enchantments) will still need to be patched. They will just appear as the default closed helmet, as mentioned above.
