I noticed a weird behavior with Improved Camera due to the bEnableNearDistanceOverride settings.
Shadows looks weird when camera is disabled and this settings is enabled. I'm asking myself if the parallax bug reported is bound to that. So you got two solution to solve that:
Set bEnableNearDistanceOverride to 0 in improved Camera ini or enable the improved camera fix in my mod.
The downside of my "fix" is that camera is not totally locked if you are in first person view will change if you slow down. So you need an another way to block the camera, you can use the option in SSE Engine Fixes
ScrollingDoesntSwitchPOV (default: false) - Makes it so using your scroll wheel won't swap between 1st/3rd person. The upper side is that you don't need to double tap anymore when the fix is enabled.
Just a wee PSA, I was baffled as to why the mod didn't seem to be working - it would change walking speed a bit, but wouldn't transition into running. I could run only by holding SHIFT.
Then I remembered that I'd set skyrimprefs.ini to "always walk" (so that the character walks out of the box, rather than runs, as is normal, and you have to SHIFT to run). When I realized that of course then if I hit capslock which would set my character to always run, and the mod worked! (Giving a smooth transition from walking to running.)
Now I have it set back to the standard "always run2 in skyrimprefs. I'd only changed it because I wanted a more natural behaviour (with my character not running everywhere like a lunatic by default :) ), but with this mod I don't need that, as it remembers the last state, which for me is usually walking and taking in the scenery :)
Leaving this here in case it catches someone else out - I was all ready to wonder if it was was an incompatibility with DAR or TDM or something like that, and dreading having to fiddle about with MO2 to ferret out the problem.
Is this incompatible with Customizable Camera? It keeps reverting my settings and I can't figure out how to stop it from doing that. I tried changing the buttons to change speed to keys thinking maybe it was due to the scroll wheel but you can't use anything but the scroll wheel I guess? Or at least using MCM to change the keys didn't work. This is a super cool mod and I would love to use it.
I will never again play the game without this mod (or its successor). Complete game-changer. I don't have to whizz through populated areas knocking people and stuff to the ground but I'm also not locked to the default crawly walk speed. Thank you!
Having an issue when starting a new save. Whenever this mod is enabled the survival menu pops up in the opening cutscene rather than outside of the cave. I'm also able to freely switch the camera and open menus that should otherwise be disabled.
Otherwise, it seems to work fine in regular gameplay. MO2 also doesn't list any conflicts when enabled.
Yeah, I have all the dependencies and I get the same thing. It would work and then I started a new playthrough and it stops. I install then reinstall a hundred times u til it works again finally.
Edit: it shows the mod script has loaded but still no MCM menu to be found. Frustrating.
try to start a new save. often mods don't always launch MCM unless doing a new save. it's very common as your mod list grows that any time you add new MCM based mods you have a good chance of it not showing up at all in MCM until you start a new save. if that's the solution then, it's best to NOT do a "serious" play until you've finished modding your game entirely. otherwise this will happen regularly (assuming that's the issue for you)
I second this. I remember using the old version and that let you change the max walking speed but seemingly not this mod for some reason. Can only go slower, not faster. Actually you can't increase the magnitude at all beyond 0%, whether walking or running.
I can't really play without this mod anymore. Has some problems with improved camera, but after adjusting in game just quit and start up again and seems then it seems to work properly again.

Make it so scrolling speed isn't affected in menus/quick menu, AND MY LIFE IS YOURS!!!!

If not, a dependency is missing
