When installing on a fresh playthrough (upgraded from Vortex to MO2) I noticed an error when installing that Vortex did not provide:
Folder '55 Windmills Base Vanilla Version Sails\Meshes' not found
Folder '56 Windmills SkyMills Compatibility Sails\Meshes' not found

No idea why you would receive that error, as I have deleted those folders from the FOMOD and have never had that error myself when installing in MO2

I've combed through the FOMOD and I don't see any windmill meshes files listed.
Can you please advise which specific options you are choosing in the FOMOD?

Not sure "balanced" should include each individual part of the smelter in 4K. Hopefully better choices are made in most other areas.

"The FOMOD is setup with the same name as SMIM, so by default it will try to install over the original SMIM.

This is the recommended installation, just merge/overwrite the SMIM textures with yours."

Really sorry, do you mean replace the original SMIM mod with this mod when prompted, or put it lower in load order?

This should be placed lower (overwrite) than SMIM.

can someone answer me pls. i don't want smim. i have my own reasons.  but some mods (without esp only meshes and textures) required smim.
so. is there any chance to get CTD without smim or only violet textures?

only manually, by deleting the files that aren't needed

doesn't smim overwrite the bsa? because it uses loose files?

Yeah to use the BSAs you'd have to delete the textures folder in the original mod

You can just archive the loose files in the original SMIM with Cathedral Assets Optimizer (i.e., put all the meshes/textures into a BSA) and then overwrite with the 4K BSAs. Takes less than a minute.

Excuse me, but does ".SMIM 4K AiO BSAs" Include original Smim meshes itself? Or do I still need the original SMIM?
