About this mod

Provides 'Trade Inventory' to handle 'Default Outfit' persistently via additional dialogue - at your follower/spouse.

Interoperability
While developed with [CK 1.5.73.0] on [AE engine 1.6.353 / SKSE build 2.1.5]
there should be no issue with [SE engine 1.5.97 / SKSE build 2.0.20] or even older SE combis as well.

Installation
This Mod  is in and of itself 'Light Weight' and does nothing on its own.
  • You can install it whenever you want.
  • Load Order within your Mod Sequence should be no big deal either.

Un-Installation
Please consider - before you employ this Mod in your normal gameplay...
  • Once you have changed 'default outfit' for one/some NPCs - the next Save is compromised.
  • Removing the Mod would leave those NPCs without 'default outfit'.

Therefore it is not recommended to remove this Mod throughout your campaign...
...unless you are capable of re-setting NPC Outfit somehow (e.g. editing a Save).

Dialogue Condition
An additional dialogue option (Let's review your outfit...) is provided if NPC is
  • an Ally at least and
  • a Potential Follower/Spouse and
  • not sleeping.

UI
The Modus Operandi is nearly the same as exchanging things via vanilla trade inventory.
  • Starting the dialogue - current NPC outfit is handed over to player and NPC receives her/his future nightie.
  • After that - via usual 'trade inventory' - you hand over apparel only.
  • When you leave the NPC inventory - the most current equipped apparel is assigned for 'default outfit'.
  • On top a custom abiltiy to use sleepwear is applied via spell/magic effect.

Some Restriction
You can hand over
  • unchanged instances of a base form (e.g. untempered)
  • classified as armor and
  • decision to equip is driven by vanilla procedure (I guess - armor rating, value etc.)
Some Immersion
A nightie (random one of six) is provided when the dialogue starts - which is effectively assigned for sleepwear.
In sandbox mode the respective NPC will switch to this nightie while entering the sleep procedure.
