First, thank you all for the amazing support and kind words about Isilme's Tower! I’m so glad to see so many of you enjoying the mod.
I’ve been thinking about adding some new features and improvements for a potential Deluxe Edition of the tower, and I’d love to hear your thoughts! What would you like to see added or changed? Here are a few ideas I’ve been considering:
Auto-sorting containers for easier organization. I have no idea how to implement that btw xD
Hidden rooms or easter eggs to discover.
I'm also considering creating a discord server for the mod maybe connecting with people there for future collaborations and stuff that would be cool!
I’m open to any suggestions or ideas you might have but keep in mind that I know how to do basic stuff. The initial idea was to complete a story quest to get access to the tower, the story was written but it was difficult at the time, so I chose the simple edition. I have much love for this mod and Skyrim so I don't know guys. I'm also thinking of making a new house mod. Let me know if you’d love to see any of these, or if you have any other cool ideas that would make it even better!
So do we want Isilme's Tower to be a part of Skyrim forever and shinier? Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
Thank you for this house! It's a dream come true. Beautifully decorated, lore friendly, spacious, and magey. It feels like it fits perfectly in Solitude. It has everything I need. I love the smithing balcony. Zero fps loss for a decent sized player home that fits my small army of followers in it, on my potato laptop. And bug free, I am so used to player homes giving me instability and this one does not. I downloaded it with a number of other player homes not really expected any of them to be able to work with my awful set up, but this runs amazingly. I know the trend now is fewer load doors, but load doors do not bother me at all. Seperate cells save my laptop from becoming a fire place. I'm also a fan of more minimal item displays, I don't need a display for everything in the game. Just a cool place to craft and store my stuff and my followers. This house feels very crafting and magic focused which I love.
Hi downloaded the mod which is amazing however Im having an issue where Im trying to bless home and its not working Im able to bless the children;s wing however I cant bless the main hall, or anything else and Im worried this is going to make adoptions just static npc's that stand there and I also can't send pet followers back here if I want them to so Im just wondering is this a mod conflict or am I missing something
---IMPORTANT--- Please upgrade to 1.5 version. Versions 1.2, 1.3, 1.4 will be deleted! Guys thnx to the novlus support discord tower now works with Nolvus but you need to grab this: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/106441 Finally, there will be only 2 versions of the tower: 1.1(original version) and 1.5(final version with additions) please check also the changelog. P.S Feedback is highly appreciated since I'm still supporting the mod. Much love <3
hey ive been testing the mod with big modding lists and 1.3, 1.4 doesn't seem to be stable. The final version has some minor placement fixes and includes the follower bed, some unique displays in the armoury and the vendor is not longer essential. :)
loriel is inside the tower and won't leave unless i teleport her out. this means i can't buy the house legitimately ever.
additionally, when i ported her out, bought the key, and tried it on the door from the crafting balcony, it doesn't work--door's still locked and i can't get in. and loriel doesn't have any other keys on her.
The key for the main door doesn't give you access to the balcony. You will have to buy first the key to the main tower from Loriel and then you can find the key to the balcony in the alchemy area. Now as far as I know Loriel chills at the winking skeever after 4pm and you can meet her there to buy the key! ;)
Some (hopefully) constructive criticism and a review for anyone interested in the mod:
Overall very cool house mod! Nicely decorated, it's not too over the top or undercooked. It feels lore friendly and has a perfect amount of clutter.
I'm sure I may have missed some features, item displays and other little details, so please correct me if I'm wrong, but...
I feel like the library loft is a bit underwhelming, I'd personally like to see, display slots for the elder scrolls, black books and other unique books.
The armory is somewhat similar to the library in the sense that I feel like it could be even better then it already is, add unique displays for unique items i.e Wuuthrad, Miraaks Sword etc etc. Make it feel like a magic oriented dragonborn is safely storing all the powerful items, as it is now it feels underwhelming.
Instead of a trapdoor perhaps make it a magic teleporter, if the armory must be in a "different cell".
Another opinion I have is the balcony feels a little out of place, Id just move all that stuff into the armory.
This is honestly one of the best house mods out there, and Id recommend anyone to download and hopefully endorse this mod, test it out yourself!
I really like your post thank you! There is kinda like an office area with an extra bookcase and a black book display! True tho the armoury is basic cause I felt like storing there my absolute favourite gear and then the rest goes to the museum :3 About the teleporter i tried trust me to do the magic teleporter but i could not at the time so i went with the trap door. Finally im sad that you dont like the balcony but yeah the view of the city ect i wanted that! Thank you again for the post :D
Any idea if this has conflicts with Legend of The Dragonborn? LOTD makes significant changes to Solitude near the Blue Palace.. Also Solitude Docks... which makes changes to walls/entrances etc.. Thanks Great Tower !!

May I suggest adding a changelog?

getting rid of this.
Also, Loriel does not actually go to the winking skeever. I've been there at all times of the day and night and she's in the tower.
