New quick mod release! Noticed this item when I was placing a dagger for JS Unique Utopia Standalone SE - Daggers and thought it desperately needed re-doing. So here it is!
As always, if something is broken, let me know. If you like it, show the love! and definitely feel free to upload your own screenshots!
Version 1.02 - Updated collisions & added correct Materials
Version 1.01 - Added _col versions that have collision enabled. These can be linked to for use with other mods.
This mod is just a texture and mesh replacement with no plug-in, it should be compatible by default.
The LOTD museum generates a static object version of the chalice to display it, and (afaik) that static object pulls the same .dds / .nif files as the base game. In short, if the object itself has been retextured, so too will the display.
I'm pretty certain of this, because Lexy's Guide for LOTD uses an older, LE mesh/texture replacer without any patches or plugins, and it seems to work fine.
I don't play as the vampires, but I'm still downloading this so I can look at it when I massacre all the vampires during the dawnguard quests. Have you ever thought about working with the Skyblivion team?
If you don't mind me asking why don't you have interest in it?
Does it come from a point of preferring to work on your own projects and being uninterested in working in the project or is it just disinterest in the concept as a whole. I'm guessing you enjoy skyrim as one of the most prolific mod authors out there, does that not extend to other bethesda games. Or is it a matter with the work environment/people involved or something else
If I had opted to join the team, I wouldn't have been able to release anything of my own, there just wouldn't be enough time. At this point, I'd rather not be just another name on a very long list of contributors with nothing to show for it when it is complete. I do wish them all the best, but it's not for me.
That Bloodstone Chalice looks absolutely stunning! I love it <3 Love the spikes on the chalice as well. Awesome touch to that This mod will never leave my mod list <3
