DAV causes instant CTDs when loading existing saves or starting a new game. Crash Logger didn't generate any log files. MO2 didn't display any overwrite conflicts between DAV and my load order. I am running AE 1.6.1170 and hadn't enabled any mods making use of DAR's functionality. Can provide my load order if there if interest but otherwise I'm not going to try to further diagnose the issue myself.
I'm having a strange bug where my helmet breaks after a certain amount of ingame time and it wont be affected by DAV anymore to raise/lower the visor. This isn't fixed by reloading the save or relaunching the game, the only way to fix it is seemingly to load an older save before it broke, but it always breaks again after the same amount of time.
Amazing mod, the only problem is whit my hair physics... when I turn my helmet invisible the physics are gone T.T edit: have found a solution to resolve this problem for those who still struggle with. By changing disableSMPHairWhenWigEquipped to false in the FSMP (Faster HDT-SMP) configs.xml file and it work fine to me. So far it does not have impact to my game performance/fps... this fix my problem <3
Sorry, having a dumb moment and need a hand, I'm trying to hide the backpack using the menu, all it says in the description is;
"Hidden Equipment - Adds simple variants to all circlets, helmets, backpacks, and cloaks that allows them to be hidden. This addon is not usable by itself and is recommended to be used alongside the UIExtensions Menu."
I'm having a lot of difficulty finding either the Hidden Equipment plugin or the actually ID for the backpack within the in game menu, if someone could point out what I need to do that would be great. Currently playing with lorerim if that's any help.
My game crashes whenever i try to run this mod. Trying to use it to run either Helmet Toggle 2 or Dynamic Lowered Hoods on 1.6.1170. Anyone have a fix?
I know this is a month old by now, but are you crashing randomly or it won't start up? There were a few mods like Skyrim Outfit System SE Revived that insta-crash AFAIR. I just checked on 1.6.1170 because I read this and got scared my new install wouldn't allow Helmet Toggle 2 but it loaded and functioned fine after testing for a while.
Started this on a new game with AE, latest version. Installed with Vortex. No problems on my end. No CTDs at all. I'm guessing It's the other mods that are pausing a problem.
Skyrim Outfit System SE Revised hard conflicts with this mod and Helmet Toggle 2, pick one or the other.
Outfit System SE Revised can be configured to "hide" your helmet if you know how to play around with the out fit presets. You can create an empty entry but check to have everything "Passthrough" except for the hair slots, activate the outfit and you'll have a perpetually working hidden helmet option
I'm having a constant crash everytime I use the 'Revert Form' power while being a Vampire lord. The crash log always points out this mod. Any idea why?

Question about the configs, specifically the replaceByForm condition, is it possible for there to be multiple options for what to change to for a single armor piece?
For example, let's say I have 3 versions of 1 shirt: clean, dirty and torn. Is there any way for me to have the clean shirt be potentially changed to the dirty OR torn shirt at the user's discretion instead of only having one of those options?

I'm not a competent model to have any sense of how to move forward with identifying the issue, so I guess this one isn't going to happen for me.

I was legit about to remove the mod because it bugged me too much.
