The frigging ENB settings can be so different from person to person... just like people's taste and subjectivity XD So hopefully with the new updates there's something good for everyone :)
Thank you for this wonderful mod, RemmyKun <3 And for your other beautiful mods as well. I use so many of them :) I just wanted to mention an odd issue I have encountered with this one though and a possible fix for anyone that might run into it as well. Some of the parts of the riekling stands were misbehaving in my game with the new ENB light meshes. Namely Rieklingstand01 and Rieklingstand02. The textures had a uniform color that reflected the general shade of the sky. Here is an image as an example. As you can see, it's all pinkish, same as the sunset sky in my game. It turned various other shades depending on the weather, but always in one color for the main hut and the posts. Before image I messed around with the mesh a bit and found a fix for it. I'm not exactly sure if the fix removed any of the lighting features as well, but it doesn't look like it to me. At least I like the results anyway :) In both the meshes for the stands, I selected the BSLightingShaderProperty of the affected part. In that, I removed the SLSF2_Glow_Map flag in Shader Flags 2. I changed the Emissive Color to black and Emissive Multiple to 1.0. I also removed the DLC2_RieklingStand_g.dds texture from the corresponding BSShaderTextureSet. That did the trick for me. Here's the result image, taken at night so that the lights can be seen properly :) After image I just thought I'd share this if anyone else runs into this problem. Hopefully most people won't though :) Regadless, thank you again for this wonderful mod and for all your hard work <3
Oh wow! lol That looks like a conflict to me D: I really have no clue xD… but there’s something weird going on there… Even the solution is a bit weird cuz the flag and the texture are there to make this mod work fine… or at least I thought that hahah But anyways; good to hear that you fixed it :)
Yeah, I figured they were definitely intentional :D It must be some odd conflict, but in any case, I just wanted to share for anyone facing the same issue :) The mod is amazing in any case and makes Solstheim look so much better <3 Thank you again :)
Thanks so much for this fix! I just installed the mod and was caught offguard when it suddenly went bright white on the posts. Working perfect now and looks amazing.
Also thanks to the MOD author for this fantastic upgrade :D
@Metalyard You know what… I think I’ll make an optional version with those changes… Even if it sounds weird to me it seems to work for some of you xD So, yeah… I think that’s the best I can do lol
EDIT: I've been having issues uploading the optional files. For now I'll leave it like this although it appears that some files are duplicated. Just ignore them lol EDIT 2: Maybe they will fix themselves after some time xD it seems like a problem of slow updating :P
The towers and bridges are no longer emitting light. The other stuff is though, tried re-installing every version and no change. I can't work it out LOL.
Be sure to give this mod priority over other mods like “Assorted Mesh Fixes” for example. If the problem continues well… I don’t know what the conflict could be xD Hmm… maybe check your ENB complex particle lights’ settings?? Or delete the enbcache to be created again… maybe… lol
Priority has always been over everything else. ENB settings are what they should be, no cache as the latest ENB updates no longer use a cache folder. It's proper got me stumped as it's only those meshes no longer giving off light... lol.
Oh! You are right about the latest ENB version! lol sorry, I forgot… And yeah; some people seem to have the weirdest issues with this mod and sadly I have no clue why >.<‘ Probably I don’t have as many mods altering the vanilla “architecture” layout or something because it always worked fine for me. I apologize for not being very helpful in this :/
It's simplicity of snow. It adds it's own meshes for the snow covered bridges and towers. The none snow meshes have the ENB light but SoS is adding it's own which overwrite the default ones for your mod.
I took a look at the meshes. I don't know how to patch them myself, i'm no good with adding ENB light in Nifskope. For now i've simply forwarded the default nifs for Skyrim into SoS but now there's no snow shader on your nifs.
I just uploaded the patch! It is currently untested but it should work fine. I hope it does lol Let me know if it works! :P *note: no parallax version tho... because I can´t use parallax and glow maps at the same time >.< However, I think nobody has released parallax textures for the Riekling architecture yet... correct me if I'm wrong.
skurkbros retexture project has parallax textures for riekling outposts. this script can apply parallax to meshes and automatically skips trishapes with glowmap texture paths (also skips most other incompatibilities with parallax, sometimes entire meshes). looks very nice in my game. thanks for the mod
Riekling outposts are literally in the middle of nowhere most of the time. So 0 FPS cost unless you have a potato that struggles with ENB in the 1st place :)
Glad you like it and thanks a lot for creating this addon! i'll put a recommendation on my mod page ;) such a pity that we can´t use ENB light in VR (yet)
Thank you for another great ENB mod. I have conflicts with Assorted Mesh Fixes and Unofficial Material Fix, will there be a patch in the future for any mod conflicts?
Hello :) Assorted mesh fixes is already included here. And about the material fix I forgot to check lol But don’t worry… I know how to change meshes’ materials. So, I’ll check later to fix it ^^
I fixed this my own way in version 1.2 :) Unofficial Material Fix had set "stone" and "metal" but the rest of similar meshes in vanilla are "wood" (and that makes sense to me). So I changed that to wood to had collision sounds and more consistency ^^

Thanks for this mod.
I´m having similar issue, Jeannetta182 teached to us a fix for that but I don´t know how do that ^.^!
Best regards!

Thanks a lot for that info! Maybe I can create a patch. I’m not sure but I can try lol
Fingers crossed you can work out a patch :)

EDIT: Well maybe I'm dumb, but anyhow - Thank You for the reduced brightness version! :D Found it just now ;D
Thanks so much RemmyKun !
No problem ^-^
Thanks a lot for your awesome retexture which gave me this idea! :)

Nice idea and another reason why I should go to Solstheim more often.
Enjoy the glow! xD
