!! ATTENTION !!
If you want to download this mod READ THE COMMENTS SECTION ABOUT
THE SAVE GAME CORRUPTION BUG, its important.
===============================================

I choose the wrong name for this mod, this mod its not a outfit manager, its more a "location exclusive inventory", if you want to know whats the difference between this mod and a outfit manager read the section before the videos.

===============================================

    Do you ever wanted to give the best clothes and jewelry to your followers to show your wealth, but don't want to keep manually changing it back to armor to kill some bandits? do you ever wanted to make your followers comfortable in your home using
that ragged trousers that they are ashamed to use in public? if yes, this mod its for you.

 First of all this mod is based in a feature of the mod Amazing follower tweaks, so i have re implemented it to work with followers outside the AFT framework and custom ai followers.

      This mod don't require Amazing follower tweaks.
   What this mod do:

   This mod will make your followers change inventory based in the current location, this can be city , home or wilderness. very simple and easy to use. comes with a MCM menu for fast configuration, almost all the system are event based for the best performance .

 Now in version 1.02  you can manage the inventories and add items to dismissed followers inside your house ONLY , they will wear the clothes and armor you give to then. even if they are not following you, and when you hire one of these followers again they will keep all the items from the another inventories, so you can give all items you want to a dismissed follower wilderness inventory while he will keep wearing the Home clothes inside your house.
 to set a follower to live in your house use the mod:  My home is your home

How this mod work:
 When you change location, will be checked if one of the keywords its the type designed, and based on the keyword the selected followers inventory will be switched.  i have added some custom new keywords to the mod system to make easy patch creation.

 Keywords Checked player house:
 LocTypePlayerHouse   FCHO_LocTypePlayerHouse(custom)

 Keywords Checked for cities:
 FCHO_LocTypeCity(custom)   |   FCHO_LocTypeHouse(custom)    |   LocTypeCity    |  LocTypeTown   |  LocTypeInn  |  LocTypeTemple   | LocTypeHouse  |  LocTypeGuild   |   LocTypeCastle  |  LocTypeStore  |  LocTypeCemetery

 Keywords Checked for open world:

FCHO_LocTypeWilderness (custom)

 If the location its equal to none (no location data in the area) or don't have any of the keywords from the city and player house list, it will be considered wilderness.

   How to use this mod:

    First: Cast the spell "FCHO - 1 - Select To Apply Outfits" in a follower you want the system working. all items in the follower inventory will be removed and added to the Wilderness inventory, this inventory will be used for places like dungeons and the open world

   Second: Add all the items you want to be the CITY outfit to the selected follower and cast the spell "FCHO - 2 - Set outfit CITY", all items in the follower inventory will be removed and added  to the City inventory, this inventory will be used for places like cities, towns, inns.

   Last: Add all the items you want to be the HOME outfit to the selected follower and cast the spell "FCHO - 3 - Set outfit HOME", all items in the follower inventory will be removed and added  to the HOME inventory, this inventory will be the inventory for places that have the keyword LocTpePlayerHome, like the homes you buy.

 And it's done, you do not need to keep recasting the spells above, only use then in the first time you select a follower after this the items for the current location will be automatically equipped and every time you get inside a city or your home your followers will switch to the designed inventory, if for some reason the follower previously equipped armor disappear,  its because the armor its part of the default outfit or sometimes they simple disappear, but this almost don't happens. check the issues bellow for further information.

   ATTENTION:  AVOID GIVING USELESS ITEMS TO YOUR FOLLOWERS, Amazing follower tweaks have a backpack system, or you can use my other mod Dvs - Team immersive loot  to hold  the  unwanted items, and avoid using the followers inventory to carry useless stuff, this slow down the follower ai and will make the inventories transition slow.
And READ THE ISSUES LIST IN THE END OF THE MOD DESCRIPTION.

ATTENTION 2:
its not because you leave a city that the areas around it don't have the city keywords. for example whiterun stables its considered city. so you need o move a certain distance to your followers change the inventory.

 How to edit the inventories 1:

 If you are inside a city, all items you trade with your follower will become city items, if inside your house, the items will become home items.

 How to edit the inventories 2:

    But if i do need to add items to the city inventory but i'm inside my home?
    For this you can use the spells  FCHO - Open - City inventoryFCHO - Open - Home inventory or FCHO - Open - Wilderness inventory. this spells will open the respective inventory from the selected follower.

 How to remove a follower:
 Use the spell FCHO - Remove follower, this will remove the follower from the mod system, if you want to remove all followers at same time use a option in the mcm menu.

 Uninstall: Select uninstall in the MCM menu. wait the uninstall messages, this can take from one to two minutes , save, remove the mod.

If you want to test this mod, and have the mod legacy of the dragonborn, go inside the museum and set all the outfits. inside the museum its a player home, outside before you pass the gate its wilderness and after you pass the gate to solitude its a city. so you can easily test the mod and know if you want to keep it.

 The information above is not completely true, for some time the area between the museum and solitude will be marked as wilderness, after some time advancing some quests it will be marked as city.

Mod performance:

    FPS: I'm using it in a heavy moded environment, no fps loss, only a small freezing when the engine loads the armors from the disk, almost all the system are created using events, the only thing that runs continuous it's a function that run every after two minutes.

   Stuttering: Depending of the mods you use or your load order, when you move from a type location to another type, maybe the game will freezes a little when loading the assets from the disk. i have tried to lower this situation but it happens more after you start the game, after some time playing it almost don't happens.

===================================================================================
Some issues:

  THIS MOD REMOVES THE STANDARD OUTFIT YOUR FOLLOWERS USE, these outfits are the steel armor that the Housecarl  use by default or the serana vampire armor. so if you uninstall the mod i don't know if this outfits will be restored, read the explanation above the videos, down bellow to a explanation about outfits in skyrim.

 When you cast the first spell to select a follower, the current equipped armor have a high chance o be destroyed, so give a useless armor to the follower before selecting. this only happens in the first time you select a follower, later everything will work as it should

 The mod system will not work inside combat,  if you change locations in combat your followers will not switch the inventories, after some time outside combat they will.

Anniversary edition: i don't have AE, but i think should work fine with it.

  I recommend you to select a follower after you pass a load door or after a auto save, maybe when you select the follower some armor piece will not be removed, if this happens reload the game and manually remove the problematic armor before using the selection spell.

 Avoid using this mod in the Sofia follower, for some reason the player teammate flag its removed from time to time, and even if you select the option to not automatic detect dismissed follower Sofia will bug the inventory system. i'm using it with lucien and everything works fine.

To inigo users:   Before selecting inigo to add outfits, manually remove all items from his inventory, specially the item: "A load on my mind", for some reason if you don't do this my mod will not work on inigo.

To inigo users 2 : Before removing inigo from the mod system REMOVE ALL THE ITEMS FROM INIGO CURRENT INVENTORY. a,d later cast the spell FCHO - Remove Follower. if you don't do this your game will crash to desktop.

 For custom AI followers avoid using options like "set outfit " , "dress options" , " lock outfits" options in the dialog menu, this tries to lock the outfit, and will cause issues with this mod inventory system

  If for some reason you start to hear a continuous loud sound of weapon equipping when you draw your weapon, this happens because when the engine tries to equip the last equipped weapon to the follower and this weapon its not in the inventory, it tries to find a new weapon to equip, if cannot find any, it keeps in a equipping loop, to avoid this always place a weapon (can be a dagger)  in all inventories.

   I not have edited locations  keywords in the game, this mod relies in the standard skyrim keyword system, because of this some locations have keywords that maybe you will disagree, like the whiterun stables have the keyword locTypeCity. and some locations don't have desired keywords.

 Why i not have have added keywords?
    Two reasons, time and i don't know how to use creation kit very well, maybe in the future i will add the keywords. but feel free to do it if you know how. i have added four keywords in this mod:  FCHO_LocTypeCity , FCHO_LocTypeHouse (for use in cities houses and stores)  , FCHO_LocTypePlayerHouse, and  FCHO_Wilderness so you can add keywords without worrying about compatibilities. this keywords will be checked first in the mod, following the order: wilderness to playerhouses to city keywords.

====================================================

Version 1.02:

 Now if you not have activated the auto detection of dismissed followers, your selected dismissed followers will equip the home or night inventory inside your house , to add new items to the dismissed follower use the open inventories spell (read the mod description to know about this spells), so you can have access to all inventories even from dismissed followers.

  This system only work in places considered player home, and work in homes that consist in multiple cells.

 the issue this system have is you will see npcs disappearing when you get inside your house and reappearing , and you cannot equip right hand ringto the npc. so use a mod that gives you left hand ring. do not use thissystem in npcs that will walk outside your home or they will be naked outside.

 i believe this versions don't need a clean save, read bellow:

 How to update:  first make a save using the old version, later install the new version, if everything go fine, keep playing, if you see something wrong make a clean save

----------------------------

Version 1.01:

Added a optional night inventory: your followers will switch to night outfit inside your house between 5 and 18 hours.
This was created by the request of the user zclayton

Now this mod will not automatically detect dismissed followers, because auto detecting dismissed followers could cause naked npcs bug, and the items removed from the follower would overcumber the player (but you can toggle this option  in the mcm menu).
Thanks to user KrokmaniakPL for the idea to make this option toggleable.

Added dismissed inventories: when you remove a follower from the mod system, all unequipped inventories items will be send to dismissed inventories. Thanks to user KrokmaniakPL this idea.

Added more clear information about the mod system in the mcm menu.

Added messages to notify when followers switch inventories

 And special thanks to the mod developer Giamel's who send me a dialog system to add to this mod, i thought it was a simple esp edit until i realize all the effort needed to create dialogs. Check out his page that have a lot of good mods.

How to update: Select uninstall in the MCM menu. wait the uninstall messages, this can take one to two minutes ,  after the uninstall messages, save,  exit the game, remove the mod (remove the esp or select remove mod in the mod organizer) , start the game without this mod, wait some time and change locations, Sava again , exit game, and now install the new version. start the game and see if everything its working fine

==============================================================================================

Whats the difference between this mod and a lot others
outfit manager we see on nexus?
First of all i choose the wrong name to this mod, this mod its not a outfit manager.

     Now you need to understand what is a outfit in skyrim:
In skyrim a outfit its a static list of items you create in the creation kit, this list is used every time you change locations inside the game to equip armors, clothes, items to the npcs, after you load a new location the npc will equip the default outfit and not the inventory items, this is the reason a lot of people experience the naked npc bug after downloading armor replacement mods, so you see a npc with clothes inside the inventory but at same time naked, this happens because some wrong links in the default outfit.
        This is what causes the annoying bug of you giving a follower a armor and the follower equipping a different armor that is not inside the inventory (when you try to give some clothes to Serana and her switch the default vampire armor ), this happens because the followers AI its different from the standard npc, it search for the best armor in his inventory and in the default outfit that you cannot have access, if the armor in the default outfit its better than the one you give to the follower he will equip the outfit one.

What is a outfit manager?
      this answer its pure speculation because a i never used  a outfit manager.
A outfit manager its a mod that manage a lot of the static lists i wrote about above, those mod change the lists based in conditions like rain, location and so on. its really good for players that do not trade a lot of things with you followers, or like keep some armor sets. and those mods works with other npcs than followers, like the city citizens and guards.

What this mod here do?
     My mod do not keep managing outfits( static lists ), my mod manages inventories, so if you get inside your house your followers will use the home inventory, and equip the items inside it, if you go to city, they will switch to the city inventory and equip the items on it, and so on. this mod its good for people that wants to keeps changing the followers items based on location, lore,  or items you buy, and use mods that have inventory destruction like my other mod      DVS - Player Essential And Team Death . for example lets say you have found a beautiful jewelry and wants to give to a follower to use inside your house. simple give the item to your follower when you are inside your  house end he will use it. but after some time you find a better jewelry and wants to replace the older one. when you are inside your house give the new jewelry and the follower will use it. and the same thing goes to city and wilderness locations. this is the kind of flexibility you don't have with static outfits.

Can i use this mod here with a true outfit manager?
If the outfit manager have a option to not work in the followers, i think you can, the only issue you will have its if you want to use the option to manage the inventory on dismissed followers in my mod, i don't think it will work, so you probably can only manage the inventory from the current followers (the ones that are actively following you).

A big thanks to my father, that taught me to never stop until i reach my objectives, and to keep trying even if the things don't go well, because in the end 99% of the time things will not go well, but when you get to the 1% that it's the victory, everything will worth it.

And told me to never stay in my comfort zone.

 Thanks for reading until the end and have a nice day.
