Could I ask you how the burn flame effect on player look like that? I almost confuse the Fire hurt RE and SE lol. I look at the below comment. My flame doesn't look orangish like your screenshot or It come frome Re make it look yellowish? Other fire seem orange from EmberXD.
I don't think the fire on the player character is affected by Embers XD, it's probably my ENB (Re-engaged ENB). In any case, the fire effect uses the Effect Shader "FireFXShader" which is formid 0001B212. It uses the following textures which in my game are all vanilla textures (not replaced by any mod):
@Glanzer Sorry if this is a noob question, but all your optional file require abotFireHurt.esp as master. Which mod did this master come from ? The original mod plugin is named FireHurtRE.esp, I'm confused...
I think you're confusing Fires Hurt RE (which is what you have) with Fires Hurt SE (which is what this mod patches). They both do the same thing but in different ways. Fires Hurt RE is probably the better mod actually, and I'm working on doing patches for it too. btw, you should really be using Fire Hurts NG which expands on Fires Hurt RE. Confusing, huh?
@Glanzer Aww, I got it now, just can't remember how on earth I stumbled into your mod haha. Weird. But really looking forward to your work for the Fires Hurt RE( yes, I already also use Fire Hurts NG), it would be much appreciated!
Just in case anyone is checking here, I would now recommend using the Fires Hurt SKSE plugin? by fenix31415 (AE port which I linked here is by Doodlezoid, and requires fenix's).
Yes I agree. The original version had some issues but I think those have been corrected. I'll probably be switching over to it myself after I find some time to do the testing.
Thanks, the patch is working. I had to make a file called "Campfire - Fires Hurt Patch" because I couldn't find that any more. Then I removed the Master requirement by Tes5Edit. I want to ensure if the content in your mod completely overwrites that patch? Does that patch include other formalists?
No, my patch does NOT completely overwrite it. Look on my Description page and click the Requirements link. It will show you what is required. If you use the Campfire patch then you definitely need the "Campfire - Fires Hurt Patch" from Wizkid that is linked there. It's in Wizkid's collection... Download his collection and use that plugin from his collection. Make sense? You can use the ESL version from Wizkid. Read my Description page again because it is explained there.
Yes, I followed your description got the esp source from the link, and then found the patches don't contain a "Campfire - Fires Hurt Patch. Since the LE version doesn't support the ESL, could you let me know the "other functional editions" in that patch by a screenshot? [email protected] Thanks again.
Wait, you're using LE? These plugins are for SE only.
In case I just misunderstood that LE comment, you can download Wizkid's archive and manually extract the patch from it. It's definitely there. Here are specific directions if you need them:
Click the "Manual Download" button under the "WiZkiD Patches Compendium ESP" option. Save the downloaded archive file to your PC somewhere OUTSIDE of your Skyrim mod folders.
Open the downloaded file and copy only the "Campfire - Fires Hurt patch.esp" file from the "CF-FH" folder and put it in your modlist. You can create a new empty mod for it or add it anywhere you like in your modlist.
Yep, found it in the archive. Thanks for your reminder. Due to the incorrectness of the installation guider, I missed the patch while I tried to install the patch directly by Mod Organizer before. I understand that issues may happen while using a SE mod in the LE game. I have tested “Fires hurt SE” which works fine in the LE version. Compared to the "Fires hurt" between the LE and SE through TES5edit, I found that the objects were not modified. Then I created an esp from the "43" version to replace the original "44" version for myself. I have found that most fixes in the "Campfire - Fires Hurt Patch" are object bounds that are supposed to merge into one. The "fire damage" part in your patch has covered vanilla game and campfire well. It seems you missed three objects, which I found in Hypothermia Plus. Also, I found followed "fire" in a mod called "Hypothermia Plus", which may use for your future update of the patch.
No, I didn't miss those, they are in every version of my GLZ-Fires_hurt_patch.esp file. Look in the ab01fhFormList FormID List in my plugin. They are there.
Also, I went through every other fire listed in Hyperthermia Plus, and none of the fires are missing in my plugin. Please be more careful before posting, this thread is getting long without any added value...
I did some more investigation about this and put my findings in the FAQ.
(EDIT: Subsequently removed from the FAQ because it wasn't pertinent. In short, it's not practical to try to extend this mod in its current form to NPCs.)

Other fire seem orange from EmberXD.

Effects\FXFireAtlas02.dds
Effects\Gradients\GradFrostIceFormOrange.dds
Effects\Gradients\GradFireExplosion.dds
The fire you see in the campfire definitely comes from Embers XD (the orange version).
I will try check it.
