Sagas of Sellswords adds a more immersive way of training warrior skills than simply paying for levels in a menu. Inspired by Bibliophile's Arcanaeum, you can approach skill trainers within The Companions and ask them to tell a story about how they used their skills in battle, or in the case of Smithing you can simply ask to watch them work. If you're Rested, you gain a temporary buff to the rate you improve that skill. You can't learn from a mentor past their vanilla maximum training level. The mod pairs best with mods like Dynamic Things Alternative if you want to use training dummies, or simply going out into the world and using the skill.
Sagas of Sellswords is fully compatible with all other mods touching training. It does not make any changes to the vanilla training system, so you can still use it if you wish. The plugin is also ESL-flagged, so it won't take up a spot in your load order. It's also fully compatible with SunHelm out of the box.
This mod is open domain. Feel free to use it, redistribute it, and modify it as you please. Source files are included in the BSA.
