This was working great for me until I installed Last Seed. I noticed that you said on the description page that this mod is compatible with Sunhelm. Is there some chance that Last Seed is interfering with it? Now, when I click on the trainers, I get the dialogue and the time passes, but no bonus is added. I checked the console and didn't see anything added to my perks, spells, or effects.
Spent some time looking into this. Last seed Disables the Rested, Well Rested, and Lover Comfort Effects when the fatigue system is on. It might be enough to remove that condition.
Edit: Actually, a better option would be to patch the Saga story quest (00BB_StoryDialogueQuest [QUST:FE000812]) to use the highested rested effect in last seeds fatigue system (_Seed_FatigueEffect1 "Fatigue: Rested" [MGEF:0601085E])
Yep, I've tried it and I'm really happy with it. No issues so far. Thank you again for making this mod! Would be great to have this feature for other NPCs as well, though.
Would it be possible to add these dialog options to certain NPCs via xEdit?
I don't get the bonus if I have "lover's comfort" instead of well rested. Can that be an option? My DB lives with her husband in Jorrvaskr so getting "well rested" isn't an option.
This looks great and immersive. I also love the bibliophile mod and it's training bonus. Great mod. I was wondering if you tinkered around enough in Bibliophile to figure out-since Obscure is gone and not answering questions anymore if you know how to reduce the time to get the training bonus for bibliophile because it's like 4-6 hours and that seems like a lot, especially if you're playing immersively. Anyway, shot in the dark. Your mod looks great. Can't wait to try it!
Amazing idea. It reminds me of Arcanum. Do you think it would be cool to have an alternate version where you don't get the pop-up but instead in the quest journal you have a quest called "Sagas of Sellswords" and all this pop-up info appears there gradually as if the Dragonborn was taking notes? Something like "Farkas told me a story about...."
Love the concept of this. I find the vanilla gold-based training system to be incredibly lame and disappointing, but I've lived with it till now. This seems much more interesting. Will try it out and see how it goes.
