Seasonal Aspen Trees that change appearence depending on the season.
Utilises the new Seasons of Skyrim framework to bring you a dynamic forest that breathes life into your game.
This is a complete rework of my first mod made from scratch with new models, textures and now ..seasons!

- An overhaul of the aspen trees aiming to create the feeling of a realistic seasonal forest.
- Seasonal trees that change appearence depending on the season:
Winter: Dark brown colors, empty branches with a few dry leaves.
Spring: Dark green colors, reduced leaf density.
Summer: Bright green colors mixed with some yellow, more leaves on branches.
Autumn: Mixed autumn colors, red orange yellow and dry leaves. - Bigger tree models. Some are huge and towering above the others.
- New high quality textures made from AI upscaled and cleaned textures.
- Two bark options provided, one dark brown in the style of oak and linden trees,
and one vanilla in the style of aspen and birch trees. - Different trees have different leaf and bark textures for variety in all seasons.
- New saplings (young trees) featuring the awesome models from Aspens Ablaze by mindflux,
with hand calibrated textures to match the colors and feel of the rest of the trees. - New texture for the fall forest shrubs made from cleaned and upscaled vanilla texture,
they come in four versions each for every season. - New handmade and optimised 3D lod meshes and lod textures for each and every option of the above to be used with Dyndolod 3, for the best visual results for distant lod.
- Textures come in 2K and 4K resolution to choose.
Features: - Seasonal trees that change appearence depending on the season:
- Seasons of Skyrim. This is what makes the seasonal changes possible. Follow the installation instructions at their page.
- Dyndolod 3 (alpha 73). Used to generate your lod. Without it distant trees will look ugly and with vanilla colors instead of the new dynamic seasonal style.
Installation:
- Install with your favorite mod manager as normal.
- Run the game once until the main menu appears.
- Exit the game and run Dyndolod.
- Make sure to check the seasons box as well as all 4 seasons in the drop down menu bellow Spoiler:Show
- When it finishes, zip and install the Dyndolod output like a mod.
- Done!
Compatibility:
- The mod is compatible with all landscape and town mods. It only swaps base trees with new models.
- The mod is compatible with other tree overhauls, but you will need to load my mod after them if you want Seasonal Aspens to appear in game.
- The mod is compatible with Shrubs of Snow, use the patch in the optional files.
Recommended mods:
- Shrubs of Snow. Higly recommended because otherwise you will have green plants in the winter. Patch provided.
- Folkvangr grass for amazing realistic grass with 3D elements.
- Happy little trees. Looks very nice together with our aspens. Let this mod overwrite Happy litle trees to have them both work together.
- The enb used for the screenshots is my own enb preset.
- It's a very vanilla style enb so the colors might be more vibrant depending on your enb setup.
