  • Reporting Issues with a SPID-based Mod

    SPID 6.5.0+ Notice:

    Whilst an individual SPID patch may be a culprit, SPID 6.5.0-6.6.1 also has a known issue with naked NPCs. If you are encountering naked NPCs (or NPCs missing specific pieces), please try rolling back to SPID 6.4.0 to see if it mitigates the issue before reporting naked NPCs.

    As an end user, you may run into something unexpected with distribution. Noticeably, outfit distribution to certain NPCs may not have the expected result. This process also applies to troubleshooting other SPID related issues.

    So with that in mind, this brief guide can help you create a more precise report to expedite issue resolution.

    First up: always include your SPID log in your report (in spoilers! As they can be quite long).

  • Using RMB SPIDified Core as an Author

    RMB SPIDified Core serves as a resource for a wide range of my own SPID patches/plugins, maintained as a central resource. The purpose is to avoid having to re-invent the wheel any time I release a plugin, and to be able to "bulk update" all of my plugins if I need to adjust keywords -- and importantly, also to give other folks the opportunity to use this resource if they would deem it useful for their projects!

    It can be used as a soft dependency, where having it in your load-order adds extra distributions, or as a hard dependency - where no distribution occurs without it installed.
