For users of Quaint Raven Rock, I made an add-on so that all statues of The Reclamations are featured in front of Raven Rock Temple. All credits to Mandragorasprouts for the amazing art<3
I agree, Vaermina and Sheogorath terrify me the most. The idea of either of them getting in my head is a very uncomfortable thought. Especially since it'd probably just be for their amusement.
I'm more scared of Sanguine. He acts like an immortal frat boy for the most part, but has the potential to be by far the most sinister and vile of all the Daedra because his sphere of influence is literally anything that mortals can deprave and overindulge in. He quite literally rules over the absolute worst that someone can be, and the only reason he looks RELATIVELY benign, is because he does not, right now, have any inclination to be evil. He just wants to have fun and party hard.
But there are moments during his quests where you get glimpses of how malicious he could be if he WANTED to... and it's honestly scary. You're not having a much, much worse experience only because his whim is to not make it so and he's willing to just have fun with you, rather than at your expense.
If it were the opposite... well. It'd be a whole lot less pleasant an experience. Probably to the point where just dying would be an improvement.
I personalty find Nocturnal and Hermaeus Mora the ones I steer hardest away from. Vermina and Sheogorath are not ones I want to be the focus of, Sanguine offers the worst of the twenty first century's ideas - celebrate everything, indulge in everything, the world is a playground- but that can also be combated, and just hope you don't get his attention as something to have fun at the expense of- But Mora is the one who takes something that should be anywhere from good to neutral(curiosity, desire to know more), and make of it a temptation that twists people- to kill for knowledge, the greed of wanting it simply because he hasn't got it. And Nocturnal? The businesslike manner she and the Nighitngales have is in many ways what's so horrific- it fools you. And no matter what games I play, how many characters I run, I refuse to even approach the Dark Brotherhood. Ever. Not even with a Good Guys mod. Not even for Shadowmere. I am never getting near that questline.
To me Sanguine, Sheogorath, and Molag Bal are the scariest, while Hermaeus Mora, Malacath, and Azura are the least scary.
Azura may have changed the Chimer into Dunmer but she's generally pretty helpful if you give her the worship she wants and don't betray her for other gods, Hermaeus Mora seems like the most reasonable of all of them especially after Necrom, and Malacath used to be Trinimac- and I think it shows. He seems a LOT more considerate of mortals than any other daedric prince.
Meanwhile Sheogorath and Sanguine are going to destroy you from within, corrupting your mind with madness and debauchery, and Molag Bal will, uhh, yeah, you guys know what Molag Bal does to people.
Would it be difficult to move this shrine to somewhere more near the Azura and Boethiah shrines? I like that those two are over near the border of Morrowind and it'd make sense to me if the Mephala shrine was too. I've never changed the locations of something in creation kit before but I can try to do it myself if someone tells me how
I'm using several texture overhauls (Skyland, 202X Parallax, and several others) but none of them cover this texture. Do you know of any retextures that cover this?
Edit: Apparently I did have mods that retextured this texture...but the object is so much larger than the vanilla object (pillar base) that is just stretches a lot.
Not gonna lie, I'm downloading this mostly because in Wintersun, the only two ways to start worshiping Mephala is to complete her quest in Whiterun (only works once, has a level and quest prerequisites, and btw that quest sucks), or to go to her only shrine in Raven Rock... What if I'm a Dunmer and want to worship one of the Good Daedra (or simply want her blessing) without having to make a "pilgrimage" to Solstheim ? I suppose this mod and its patch fixes that, because if it's recognized by Wintersun as a shrine that can give a blessing, I assume it can also be used to start worshiping her... right ? Also lore-wise, it's not unlikely that Dunmer refugees would have built a shrine to Mephala in Skyrim, as they did with Azura and Boethiah, but this more discrete shrine fits her sphere pretty well I think, compared to the grandiose of the other two. So, good job ! Great mod, great looks
I've downloaded all of your works because they are just amazing. Only one problem: I use Wintersun and downoaded the respective patches... However, the new statues (Namira, Azura and Mephala) won't give their blessings (as in, there's no way to interact with them, I even tried clipping inside of them to see if the trigger was misplaced. The replaced ones such as Vaermina and Clavicus work normally). Is there some problem with compatibility after Bethesda decided to plow mods again or...? Thanks!
Edit: My bad, I'm so used to complicated problems that I didn't think of the obvious solution... It was dumb
I love this model, can anyone help me to make (or explain to me how to make myself) a patch the replaces the model used by the placeable shrine in Campfire Shrines with the one used by the statue item?
i've never made or edited any kind of mods other than some minor sseedits and outfit studio replacements so please explain thoroughly ^.^
Dude, you linked a relatively small unported oldrim mod and act annoyed when the mod author won't make a patch for it?
What are you on about, patch it yourself, you converted it on your own so you're on your own from there. The author isn't obliged to patch something when you're probably the only person in the world using these two mods together
